This tea has a rich fragrance of jasmine right out of the box (which is lovely, by the way - definitely higher quality design than your standard tea box). The steam from the tea also carries a jasmine scent that wafts over you before even taking a sip, and the tea itself has the most divinely sweet floral flavor. Its jasmine notes come through clearly at the forefront but are never overpowering, while the tea itself is a subtle green tea without any bitterness that perfectly complements the jasmine. There's no dryness to the mouth-feel; the blend maintains an ideal harmony between each and every element. I don't typically like green teas, but I cannot get enough of this one. It's luxurious, sweet, soothing, almost meditative - a flawless start to the day or the ideal way to relax when the day is done. I'm so very impressed with the masterful blending on display here. Typical grocery store jasmine teas don't begin to compare.
