An excellent resource
Text is easy to read, informal tone, with excellent tables, diagrams and plates; bibliography is extensive and helpful. This is a perfect book for undergraduate study and hobby reference.

Anderson & Anderson is a great undergraduate text or reference for the non-specialist
This text is a very clear and concise introduction to geomorphology. I am an engineer by training, and I very much appreciate the process-based focus of the book. Topics are up to date, incorporating research ideas and results that were still being introduced at the time of the book's writing. Anderson & Anderson is a great undergraduate text or reference for the non-specialist.

Written more like a novel than a reference text.
The content of this book is great and very educational, but one should expect to have to read it in whole chapters at a time to get the most out of it.Lack of things like chapter numbers on the pages and especially identification of variables in equations and figures make it very inconvenient to use in a working context. Forgetting what one variable represents often requires having to reread several pages of explanation to find when it was identified the only time.It is a great book for teaching the content initially, but falls behind many other textbooks when it comes to practical use by a student or professional.

Great text!
It is dense, but then, so is the subject. The processes are well explained and the equations are as well. I recommend this text to anyone studying this subject. A+++

Useful information but all in black and white
Hard to read figures and maps because of the black and white print. Can’t tell between highs and lows. Would be nice to have easier to read maps. Color scales become gray scales that is too similar to easily distinguish values on a map.
