I purchased this gauze roll to keep gauze pads in place on my foot incisions after surgery. I used another brand for a while but when it was no longer available, I tried this one. I wish I had done so sooner! It is cloth-like in texture and has some stretch to it. Both features make self-application a bit easier. Sure, it can get snags and pulls from certain things, but that is typical of most gauze rolls and I find that this one has less of a tendency than others. Also, it is not sterile. But I found that to be OK as long as the gauze pads that come in contact with the wound are sterile. Finally, cloth tape (as opposed to paper tape) works well to keep it in place.

These stretch gauze bandages are a good value. While some buyers complained they were thin and not absorbent, they are very similar to the name brand bandages used at my local urgent care location. These bandages are not intended to absorb fluids - they will stick if applied directly to wounds. The purpose of these bandages is to apply LIGHT compression in order to hold a non-stick, absorbent pad in place over a wound. In my opinion, they perform this function flawlessly. I would definitely order again when more are needed.

I bought these to use for an art project, and chose them because it only listed cotton as the material. Just know that there's lots of elastic in there, which makes it very stretchy.

Decent gauze great price enough rolls to put some in every first aid kit we have

I like this product very much. while it is very thin, I use it to wrap a pad over a wound. It adhesion is very good, and needs very little tape to hold it in place all day. Price is better than most stores a I need to change it daily. I would not use it to cover a wound alone, it is very thin and would need many layers to absorb discharge, but I can think of many uses to product would be handy to cover many problems.

GOOD COTTON PRODUCT

I needed this because I had a severe sunburn on the lower half of some of my legs. It was blistering and purple. I was so thankful to find this in bulk as I needed to treat it for over a month. The gauze was soft and didn't stick to the wound. No pain and comfortable to sleep with. All healed now thanks to having this to wrap my leg with burn ointments.

Good value for the money but not always available. A little narrow and cheap compared to some others.
