Exactly what you want from a tea
This tea is a lovely, rich tea that goes marvelously with a biscuit (cookie!), a slice of cheesecake, a roast beef sandwich, or nothing at all. An excellent flavor. The reviews claiming that it's granules and not loose tea leaves are incorrect - the leaves are rolled into little balls as part of the processing ("crush, tear, curl" method, or CTC). I personally would prefer the leaves be in their standard state, but this is definitely better quality tea than you often find in mass-market teabags. My order came in a stand-up plastic bag with integrated ziploc reseal. The price is excellent for the quantity and quality.

Forgive me my beloved Irish Afternoon Tea
I originally bought with plan to give as gift to Scottish friend of mine. Then I remembered my own afternoon teas with my Scottish auntie and uncle. I was 8 when they moved here to the states. Fine china holding that lovely golden taste of heaven and a shortbread cookie. Well with that memory, I just could not let that lovely package of Brodies leave my hands. If you love Be@#$ys Afternoon Tea then you must try this.

Another lovely Brodies' tea
I love Brodies' tea and seem to always choose the Scottish varieties, for their robust character, which is also smooth and satisfying. I make sure to use it sparingly because it can be too strong if you brew it too long, even though I love strong tea, but it's never bitter. I heard once that you should never squeeze your tea bags or press every last drop from the strainer, which is what can make it bitter.

I've had a hard time getting Brodies and love it. This is great.

yet doesn't hit your stomach like battery acid
I am a huge fan of loose leaf tea in general, but this Scottish Afternoon Tea is now one of my absolute favorites. Its strong with a well balanced flavor, yet doesn't hit your stomach like battery acid. I will definitely reorder this tea before I run out. The price is reasonable, and it arrived at my home quicker than promised.

Not the best quality tea
I was disappointed when I first received the tea. The bag (the red packaging) looked like it was old and had significant wear on it. It is not resealable. Also, the tea was ground much finer then I expected. It was only one step away from the tea you would find in tea bags. Hardly "leaf" tea. The taste was OK but I had to add some extra sugar to overcome the bitterness. I may have to adjust my steep time to account for the finely ground tea. The price was cheap, but so was the tea (in my opinion). Buy at your own risk. I will not buy it again.
