These bags work well for my loose teas, but they are not as thick as they were in the past so be aware of that if you’re looking for a bag with thick paper. They wrinkle easily, but otherwise are a decent bag

I got these to give my some of my coffee roasting results to my friends and family to try. These bags are a good size and construction for that but for my use there is a very distinct problem. The insides of the bags have a very strong smell like hand crafted soap or fabreeze air freshener inside. So when you open the bag to give the coffee beans an appreciative sniff you get a strange mix that smells a bit like soapy coffee. I didn't expect such a strong smell and really doesn't mix.Bottom line, if you're not using these for snacks where smell is part of the sell then these are just fine. For my application they are a bust. Coffee beans that smells soapy just wont do. I've got a couple of test bags set out for a few days to see if the smell affects the actual coffee beans themselves. If they are fine then I'll use the rest of the bags and pick up something different. Otherwise I'll pass the remainder on to someone who can use foo-foo smelling bags.

I have ordered these bags three times now. The first order did have square windows as shown in the description, but the last two have had narrow windows, 1 3/8” x 2.” The bags are of good quality, which is why I keep buying them, but I would prefer the square windows.

I love how these bags work and that they have a window so people can see what’s inside. They are very sturdy, grease proof on the inside and the built in tin ties keep them closed perfectly. I buy these bags every year to use for packaging up my Christmas treats.

I ordered these cute little bags to put popcorn in as a part of a gift bag for my family reunion. These were perfect and kept the popcorn fresh. I'd definitely order these again if I wanted to package food items for individual purposes.

I used these for my holiday goodie baskets and they worked terrifically well! No grease from butter cookies leaking through, no cookies sticking to paper. I was able to easily fit 4-6 4-inch cookies in each bag, and about 15-20 homemade 1.5x1.5-inch marshmallows. I wrote directly on each bag and there was no smearing or bleeding through. The bags were uniform, crisp and clean; no tilted windows or missing ties. I plan on using these for as long as they're available because they looked great and worked great and are a great price!

These are good quality bags and the fold down holder works well. The cookies I made for it fit perfectly, but they weren't really large ones. Be sure to careffuly handle the bags with clean hands. The first one I filled had grease stains from handling my not-really-very-greasy cookies! I have ordered bags of these type in the past and while some were larger, that fit larger cookies, these are better quality and don't tear easily while filling them.

I roast my own coffee and like to give some top friends and family. Giving people a full pound of coffee exceeds my reasonable roasting capacity, but a half-pound of coffee in a bag that can hold a pound or more just looks and feels cheap, even for an unexpected gift. These bags are the perfect size to give someone a couple pot's worth of beans in a container that doesn't feel empty, and makes me look like a pro.
