Golden Degreaser Industrial Strength Bike Degreaser and Cleaner

Every bike mechanic needs some of this in their toolbox. This stuff has helped unfreeze rusted head and axle bolts on restoration projects from the 1950's and 60's where nothing else penetrated far enough to disassemble pieces without risk of thread damage. So many hours and parts saved beyond just cleaning. Don't sleep on this :).

This stuff is amazing and I use it whenever I am cleaning my chain, chain ring, and gears on my bike. Pour it on, let it sit, use a hood stiff brush to clean it up, rinse off and your components will look like new. Add oil and you are ready to ride.

Good stuff, but a spray version would be nice!

Used for first time and did a great job cleaning my chain and drive train. Used with a park chain scrubber and added a lil water to it in the reservoir.

I use it by pouring a little in my Park chain cleaning tool. It cleans the chain and then I put just a little on a Park freewheel brush to clean the casserole and chainrings. It’s expensive for such a small bottle but I only need to use a little at a time. I’ll guess I can get about 8-10 drivetrain cleanings out of a bottle

I have an older motorcycle that was treated poorly when it was on the road, and then sat for 6 years. Did I mention that it is a HD and loves to leak oil, even now... Best degreaser on the market for cleaning drivetrains. Bike Medicine has step-by-step instructions on their website for cleaning bikes. On two separate occasions when I brought my freshly cleaned bike to two different shops, the staff person was amazed at how clean my bike was. Highly recommend this product.

I got asked about the scent of this before I reviewed. What, the scent? Anyway, I don't think it has much of a scent but it is very good for cleaning your chain, derailleur, everything. I like this because it works as well as gas or kerosene without the bio hazard side effects. It also works well on waxes, graphite, and all the various exotic lubricants I've tried it on.
