Will this plug fit into an 18 fr foly catheter without slipping out?

I don't know anything about sizes, but the plug is tapered and ridged; it should fit securely in any size catheter tube.

Can this fit on the end of a 30 Fr catheter without any leakage?

The manufacturer states that the plug covers most standard catheter sizing, which ranges from 5FR to 24FR (most often used sizing is 10-16FR). 30FR is a very large, nonstandard size and the manufacturer does not ensure that it would be covered. We also do not have a 30FR on hand so are unable to test at our warehouse.

Keeps popping out - barbs designed backward.

1. Way over-priced. 2. Bad design - the circular barbs should have a toothed edge facing in the direction of the flow to seat correctly in the tapered recepticle on the catheter discharge end. These keep popping out, spraying urine about. Embarrassing!! A total waste of money!!

Useful.

I just ordered a few more of these, after the first one I bought vanished (can't tell whether to blame the housekeeper or the cats, but most likely the cats).The plug is great for quick trips to the bathroom at night, showers, and for letting somebody else (me; my wife's the one with the bionic bladder) empty the night bag when it gets full. The cap is useful for protecting the plug when it's not in use, but it's a little hard to remove.
