Creative Options 5315 Thread Organizer

These organizers are wonderful for organizing spools of thread, bobbins of embroidery floss and more. Well made and very durable, protects against dust, etc...

Perfect for most hot wheels cars.

It is doubtful that you can fit every color DMC makes (as one reviewer said), but it fits every color that I currently have. There's a larger section on each side that fits full skeins, prior to winding them or duplicates. You have to be a little careful to see that it locks each time and also that the lock hitch isn't bending the bobbin in that cubby (by not fully packing bobbins in there and giving them a little room to lay back). You may need two of these boxes to fit all the colors, or maybe as you use some of each thread, it naturally makes more room? For now, it fits my whole collection with a little room to add some more. I used the several packages of the DMC bobbins that come 28 in a package with the large ring and a package of DMC sticker labels. As I wind them, I tape on the number label from the skein because it's easier to read than the sticker. I made a photo copy of the stickers page prior to removing any so I can quickly cross off the ones that I have collected. Just take a new picture of that photo copy with my phone when you add new skeins for shopping reference. In the picture, you can see the groups of empty bobbins, just to give an idea of how many colors are not in there. At first I stuck all the stickers on empty bobbins, but turns out it was unnecessary since I like the tape/skein label method better. It does however, let you know how many you may not have if you are trying to collect all the colors. Overall, I love this box and just having it sitting next to me while doing embroidery makes me smile.

These boxes are space conscious and fit just about any standard Hot Wheels perfectly with extended spaces in the middle for those slightly longer castings as well. The cases are sturdy enough, but I have no doubts that if I were to drop one from waist height it would likely be broken beyond repair, but for the price of these boxes, I can't fault the manufacturer for that. Being able to see your cars while the case is closed is the greatest benefit for me. My biggest suggestion is to buy more than you need because you'll fill them up in no time!

This thing is cool. Beginner sewer and so far it fits most of the threads I own, EXCEPT for Gutermann 50 Natural All-Purpose 100% Cotton Thread - Tex 20. Unfortch it's too wide for the spacing without putting stress on the dividers. If you have mainly thicker spools like that, you should consider instead getting a container with the movable dividers (not possible with this one). It does have a spot on each side for longer spools (size wise double the single spool space).Gutermann Mara 70 Poly Wrapped Poly Core Thread - Tex 40 and Gutermann Mara 100 Poly Wrapped Poly Core Thread - Tex 30 fit very well.Note: when shipped, the first one came broken and cracked but the replacement is in great shape.

High quality product for storing my son's many many many matchbox and hot wheels cars! He just turned 3 and the case is very easy for him to manage, the only issue that he has is that it gets a little heavy for him when it's full. This is a big improvement over storing cars in the official hot wheels roller case which is very awkward and difficult to open. Also the official case doesn't prevent the cars from spilling all over making the case difficult to close. The creative options case is not as interesting to look at for young eyes but my son quickly came to prefer it for a few reasons: 1.) it's easy to fill, the cars fit in the slots very nicely and they can be stored sitting down on their wheels or up on their sides, and 2.) the case is see-through so he can see all his cars and also easy find what he's looking for.I was worried about the hinges before I purchased but they are good quality and should hold up to moderately tough use. He snapped one of the covers off recently and it was simple to snap it back on, it didn't break or loosen the plastic at all.A minor warning is that some hot wheels and matchbox cars won't fit in the case, usually due to a wider-than-normal wheelbase on some passenger trucks/cargo trucks. Not a big deal. The slots are large enough for nearly everything we have. There is also one double-width slot per side which helps hold the longer trucks and cars. The only ones that don't fit are the wide wheelbase trucks.Very happy with this purchase and I now have 2 cases and will order another 1-2 very soon.

Purchased this as a Hot Wheels holder and it’s absolutely genius if I do say so myself! The spots are the perfect size for 95% of HW cars and there are 2 sides so it holds so many! One of my all time favorite purchases.

I'm an avid seamstress and originally bought this for thread. It works great for that purpose, and the price is definitely very affordable. I also have a Hot Wheels and Matchbox obsessed 4-year old son. He has approximately a bajillion little cars, and I can attest to the fact that stepping on them hurts about as much as stepping on Legos. I saw reviews about storing cars in these things, and decided to give it a shot. The box has 46 compartments, but as any small die cast car aficionado knows, many of the small cars are pretty thin (chop tops, etc.). That means you can sometimes fit two of those bad boys in one compartment, nearly doubling the capacity. My kid can open and close the bins, and can actually clean his cars up on his own, which is a big win. He can see what's inside, and though they get a little heavy when loaded down, he can still lug the containers around. I've since bought about 5 of them. They stack nicely and keep the cars from becoming projectiles after I step on them and react in extreme pain, in extreme ways. :)Some folks ask about the Disney Pixar Cars, and whether they fit. It seems that most Disney Pixar Cars are much larger scale than traditional Hot Wheels. I'm not going to get into the numbers because, well, numbers can sometimes make my brain hurt. However, there are some Disney Pixar Cars that will fit. I use trial and error.
