Bonsai tree perfect office decor
This bonsai tree is so realistic people come up and touch it all the time. I bought this for my son's new office. I was very impressed with the way it was packaged so it wasn't damaged in transit. The size was perfect for his office. Sometimes it's hard to find a male things to furnish their office/apartment space. This went perfectly in his professional office and he was very glad I took a chance and purchased it.

Doesn’t look like a fake.
Perfect “green” addition to my living room. Will look for some rocks or filler to cover the felt moss.

Looks almost real
I am going for the Asian look, and this artificial Bonsai fit the bill. I was worried about the look of the trunk and the base with "moss". It had some negative reviews. I put some small pine bark chips at the base, (taken conveniently from my landscaping), and then I added some small interesting rocks from my mega rock collection. I love rocks. Now the Bonsai looks really nice. I did bend the branches a little to give a more lifelike look. Be careful to not bend too much or you will see a stress point on the stem.

Best bonsai I found so far
The leaves themselves look the most realistic of the fake bonsai I’ve seen. It is a good size for my office desk decor. If you look closely you can tell it is fake but people have asked me if it’s real!

LOVE it
I might add rocks to the base to make it look more realistic but otherwise it gets a lot of compliments and it is a great size!

Nope.
The concept is nice, but the execution really isn't.Case in point: The pot itself is super-cheap (and equally light) plastic. The "moss" in the pot is very cheap and fake looking and it's wrapped around the based of the tree in a straight line (which makes the appearance all the more artificial). The faux "bark" is okay enough--especially from a distance, but up close everything just doesn't look great. That includes the plastic greenery, which is more sparse than it could/should be--with many branch tips bent, exposed, and unadorned.I REALLY wanted to like this faux bonsai, but just didn't. Based on the same, I wasn't interested in buying a better pot or better moss and/or rocks to hide what's provided. I also didn't spend much time trying to reshape it given all of the shortcomings I readily noticed (and have mentioned here). This might be perfect for you, but it seems below the quality of other faux plants and a faux tree that I own--especially for the Nearly Natural brand. (Yes, I'm a plant killer so I opt for the faux variety. I even off succulents, so I shop accordingly!!)
