Asian Fusion Sweet & Sour Sauce, 15 Ounce

I had some raw shrimp and some Thai Kitchen Fried Rice, from Amazon, so I decided to saute them with this product. It was delicious. Very happy with the results. Next time, I think I'll add a few pineapple tidbits. I discovered that I needed less of this Asian Fusion marinade and dipping sauce than I expected. After removing the jar from the fridge and pouring some into the heated pan, it thinned out considerably. I don't mean it became too thin or watery. Not at all. It just went further than I expected, pleasantly so. I ended up adding more rice. A delicious and cost effective product. I will certainly buy it again...if I ever finish this bottle. Maybe next time I'll marinade the shrimp.

It's hard to find organic marinades for preparing Asian dishes, so I really appreciate the Organic Asian Fusion line. The sweet & sour sauce instantly gives my cooking that recognizable Chinese restaurant flavor. Its taste is rather more sweet than sour (but not oversweet), with apricot overtones. Most restaurants use MSG to heighten the flavor of their sauce, and Organic Asian Fusion does not, so the flavor is not as strong, but to me that's a totally acceptable trade-off to avoid the unpleasant side effects that MSG can cause. The consistency of the sweet & sour is also not quite the smooth, thick syrup that you'll find at restaurants. It has a more natural, "homemade" texture with what seem to be traces of apricot bits, but again, this is not a problem for me. I'm glad I found this organic option for sweet & sour sauce.

Absolutely delicious! I use it as a dipping sauce for so many meals and hors d’oeuvres.

I love this because it has a low sodium content…. The taste is really very good….. I tried it at room temperature when I first purchased it …..and it’s very good ……I’m sure when I warm it up with making chicken or what have you it will be good…… and I think the quality is very good and it is worth the money!!! I am sure I will be purchasing this again….!

The sauce has an orangey taste (Orange & Sour)?? and it's delicious but it's runny. It's NOT a Heinz slow thick sauce so if you orient the bottle too long downwards, the sauce will run out of the bottle fast.

It's much too sweet for me. There's no “sour” aspect to this sauce. It's fruity and sweet. Quite different from the sweet and sour sauce that I’m used to. It doesn't taste bad, just not what I wanted.

Even though it's a little more pricey, the taste and quality is worth it. We it it on lots of different foods!

Very tasty, great on eggrolls & crab raguns. Its better then my local Chinese restaurant
