A Stellar Product!
Prior to buying these Binoculars, I had already tried 2 different pairs of Binoculars (Nikon Aculon A211 Binoculars with Zoom 10-22 x 50 and Celestron SkyMaster 18-40 x 80 Zoom Binoculars). Both pairs were returned to Amazon, simply because I was not satisfied with them. I feel it would not be proper to go into the details regarding my dissatisfaction, principally because I feel "the details of my dissatisfaction" are subjective! However, I have to say that both pairs of the Binoculars were in perfect working order! They were not faulty! After reading many meticulous articles regarding Binoculars and a very in-depth review of these Binoculars via Best Binoculars Reviews, I decided to purchase these Celestron Echelon 20x70 Binoculars. I can honestly state that I am absolutely delighted with these Binoculars. Looking through them is an absolute pleasure. The image quality is amazing. It is crystal clear, sharp and intimate.Observing the Moon in crystal clear detail is both transfixing and stunning … such a beautiful pleasure! The Stars look like "beautiful points of light" and viewing Open Clusters such as M44 (The Beehive Cluster), M45 (The Pleiades) and The Hyades is breathtaking! I could go on and on … and mention how breathtakingly beautiful and remarkable The Orion Constellation and some of its Characteristics looked through these Binoculars during last March, as well as other objects I viewed including the magnificent Messier 81 (spiral galaxy) and Messier 82 (Cigar Galaxy) in the constellation Ursa Major (without the use of a Tripod too) … but I feel I have said enough! However may I just say that a few days ago, I observed Jupiter and its 4 Galilean moons — Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Jupiter appeared as a bright glowing disc. It was a most impressive and phenomenal sight! An important point that I would like to state is that, so far I have not noticed one of the most annoying optical problems known as Chromatic Aberration or Color Fringing. This, I have to say is another confirmation of the "high quality Japanese optics, using Celestron's proprietary XLT coating technology for superior optical performance".Concerning the practicality of the Binoculars. They are very easy and comfortable to manage and holding them is not demanding. That said, if one would like to observe objects for long periods of time and in more detail, both a Tripod Adaptor and Tripod are essential.Lastly, I brought these Binoculars to my local Astronomy Club here in Trieste, Italy (il Circolo Culturale Astrofili Trieste) with the intention of getting some feedback from more knowledgable and experienced Astronomers. They were very impressed with both the quality of the lenses and what they could actually view!In a nutshell … these Binoculars are quite simply A Stellar Product!

Okay
These are okay binoculars. I thought the glass would be better quality at this price point. They definitely can let you see out there, but since the glass isn't a clear as I feel it should be, it leaves a lot to be desired.I also don't care for the individual eye adjustments. I decided to go with a spotting scope in the same price range as it offered better glass and thereby better viewing. These are nice, but just not at this price point.

Excellent, even with compromised eyes
I had a corneal transplant in one eye about 18 years ago. The prescription to correct the vision in that eye is much different than for the other eye, and as a result I pretty much have monocular vision with one eye focusing on near things and the other on distant things. When I finally adjusted these binoculars to each eye, i experienced perfect binocular vision for the first time in years. I couldnt be happier

Great set of Bins
Very well made. These binoculars look like they are high end and they are. I thought the optics looked very good for sky viewing.

My favorite new "toy"
I absolutely am very pleased and excited for this purchase. Took it with us when we camping (along with my IR binoculars) and its truly amazing. I have a celestron telescope, but these are alot portable and easier to grab to Skyview. I am bringing them out as often as i can to see Jupiter and Saturn. Best purchase I would say. If you are a skygazer and want to try something different this is it. They are a bit heavy, so I would also recommend a tripod suited for it.
