Breakfast Sandwich Maker & Panini Press

This was just slightly smaller than I expected but the size difference didn't matter. It works great. It was easy to use, so my grandsons can use it. It is easy to clean, I made sandwiches my grandsons loved. I like that it makes 2 sandwiches at a time. I would definitely buy it again.

Works really well! Make sure your bread size is standard, and not a "Gourmet" large type. Everything will go well for sure!

I have to drop a star because the two sides are not bread size. You can't make the wonderful looking grilled cheese. It has the edge of each sandwich sticking out & not cooking. Other than that, I will enjoy exploring other things with it. But the sandwiches of various kinds were what I wanted most. UPDATE; I'm liking this more & more. I fried 4 perfect eggs with runny yolk. I now trim the crust off my bread. It still bothers me because the pics show whole slices of bread. It can be wiped with a dry paper towel & look clean & new. It's very light weight & probably will be easily damaged, but I see that & know to be careful with it.

Got this to replace one I bought in 1991!! Thought it was used enough that it deserved replacement. Raised 4 kids with the Original one. Such a great way to make sandwiches to accompany soup or chili too!!

Came early and it works good. Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are so easy to make.

★★★☆☆ This sandwich grill actually works pretty well for quick meals. It heats up fast, makes crispy sandwiches, and gives a nice even toast with good melted cheese results. For the price, it definitely does what it’s supposed to do and is convenient for basic grilled sandwiches. The biggest downside is the lack of temperature control. You’re stuck with one heat setting, so sometimes it can brown the bread too quickly before the inside is exactly how you want it. It would’ve been much better with adjustable heat settings. Cleanup is also more of a hassle than expected. Since the plates aren’t removable, cleaning melted cheese or grease out of the corners takes extra effort. You pretty much have to wipe it carefully while trying not to get water near the electrical parts. Overall, it’s a decent sandwich maker that performs well, but the missing temperature control and difficult cleanup keep it from being a higher-rated product.

I used to have. Ronco version of this from the 80’s lol. And my mom and I were reminiscing. We couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m sure my brother stole it! I decided to look for one for mother’s day. This hit the mark because I have a parrot and Teflon in toxic for birds. Most others are Teflon coated. Many others were much more expensive. There were fancier ones that had more bells and whistles, but the copper and the fact that the nostalgia was the true gift made this one the perfect purchase. She makes mini apple pies in it. Always has. But if you have tweens, it’s great!!! We always used it to make anything you can buy as a hot pocket now. Pizza was the obvious favorite. Fast, you can be creative and make all kinds of things. It’s a good transition into cooking. It’s harder to burn yourself than the stove, the over, or even the toaster oven. And it wipes out clean like a charm. Brings back great memories. It would be great for a dorm room. Those mini apple pies, let me just tell you!!! It’s easier now. They sell premade cinnamon apples because Boston market made that a popular side. All you need is a little butter or substitute and put in some of that, seal it - in a few minutes you can have 4 apple pies better for you than McDonalds!!! GREAT for eggs and little omelette too!! Like an omelette bar. No need to use bread. All these types of machines are modeled after the machine I grew up with. The draw with this one was the copper- safe for my bird, and the copper. But in general, these little guys are so much fun to cook with and to start your kids cooking in a much safer way than the alternatives.

Horrible - the copper plates may be non-stick, but the black plastic isn't. If you use more than 1 piece of cheese in a sandwich it bleeds out and makes a mess that is difficult to clean because the cheese gets all over the plastic frame. It might have been ok if the copper non-stick area was large enough for the bread to fit, but the bread is larger than the cooking surface. I used it twice and threw it out, it's not worth the trouble.

My daughter loves grilled cheese. My son loves grilled cheese. Making them grilled cheese in a frying pan is not always the easiest thing to do so I remember when I was a little boy my grandfather had a sandwich maker like this. I picked this up as a bit of a gag present for my daughter for her birthday and let me tell you, it is absolutely Priceless and she loves it. She loves being able to go out and make her own grilled cheese at any time she wants. She's experimented with different amounts of cheese. She's even experimented with many different types of cheese. They will even do toasted peanut butter sandwiches or toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Anything they can think of they are going to put it in here

El recubrimiento antiadherente es de lo mejor que tiene pero los plásticos que utiliza para la fabricación del producto son mediocres. La luz indicadora de cocción no funciona correctamente. Creo que por el antiadherente es una muy buena opción literalmente no se le pega nada.
