Rapala Unisex-Adult Anglerschere Antiglisse

Work great on all my lines. I'm sure there are cheaper fishing line scissors and more expensive ones. I've found these to be great value of performance/price. I have them in each of my bags and will buy more in the future.

You can never have enough line cutters because you are always loosing them. This is a great item at a great price and they work as described.

Most importantly, small, light, and cuts braid. Wish it had a lanyard hole or hoop on handle. It is light enough to go on a retractable accessory holder, but I think the handle to too light or weak (all plastic) for me to drill a lanyard hole in it. I'll have to keep in pocket or use a light cord and hang around my neck (if I don't want to lose it). It does NOT come with a neck hanging cord.Yes, I tired regular sewing scissors and they just don't work. The serrations on the blade keep the slippery braid from just slipping down the blade. It is inexpensive to buy and will save me swear words in cutting braid or trimming off tag ends.

I bought this for my fishing bag which has scissors but they are not practical to put in my pockets.

I compared these side-by-side with Walmart bought Rapala scissors.They are cheaper at Walmart. These only have seraded edges at the bottom of the blade. They are also made slighly different. I did a test. The upper half of the scissors dont cut braid well. Any older worn braid need to be cut at the seraded section.The visible difference between the two different places are: walmart the brand Rapala is printed on the blade. On Amazon, the brand Rapala is poorly etched. Both came in different packaging. Walmart boughy have full setaded edges.I uped it to Zing-It which is basically 500ish pound test dyneema (braided line is dyneema). They didnt cut without loading the scissors. With Walmart bought of this same product, no problem. Even at the forward/tip end of the blades.Only reason for 1 star is hopes to spread this awareness. The scissors i got at walmart at better suited for braid.However, the non seraded edge is grest for flourocarbon and mono. So these will work but arent as good as walmart bought rapala braided scissors... save $2 and get these locally. These amazon bought are slightly different. Dont believe me, buy both.

I read the reviews and will say if your fresh water fishing these are perfect for price they cut my 8-10lbs braid with ease and can easily be stowed away after i love it and my kids can use then that a bonus
