Leaves my hair soft, smooth, and healthy-looking!
I’ve been using the Elvive Total Repair mask for a few weeks and I can really tell a difference. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and is much easier to detangle. It also helps with frizz and makes my ends look less dry.The texture is creamy and rich without feeling greasy, and it rinses out easily. The scent is strong at first, but it leaves a nice salon-like smell after washing.Overall, it’s a great affordable mask if your hair is feeling damaged or dry. I use it 2–3 times a week and it makes my hair look freshly treated.

Works great; repairs hair leaving hair soft and shiny.
I love this damage-erasing balm. I use it in my hair on a regular basis. In fact, I have gotten to the point where I don’t even bother with the conditioning step of my hair care routine. I’ve skipped it all together now. I wash my hair then move on to applying the balm into my hair then letting it sit for three to five minutes under a hair cap while I finish my shower. It leaves my hair incredibly shiny and so silky smooth. You can feel the nurturing ingredients as soon as you slide your fingers through the thick balm before you even put it in your hair. Its luxuriousness is absolutely amazing. No wonder your hair comes out thick and shiny when you’re done drying your hair. It’s formulated with almond oil and seventeen percent repair concentrate with protein for insanely intense repairing nourishment of your damaged hair. You should be able to feel the difference within the first few times that you treat your hair. The smell of this product is so amazing. I get complimented on my hair all the time. There is a floral blend, combined with the almond smell that is almost irresistible to other people. They won’t be able to help themselves from smelling your hair. It really does smell that good.In the guise of complete transparency, I do use the entire repairing system of products. I use the Elvive shampoo and conditioner – rarely, but I do, and this repairing balm. I believe that to have the best results, one should use the whole system of products if at all possible.I absolutely, positively, recommend this product to anyone looking to repair their hair.

This stuff is amazing!
I needed some kind of treatment or repair product because part of my hair had become frizzy. I was afraid the heat tool I had used had fried it. My hair is fine, thin, color treated & heat styled. So this product was at a good price & I've never had a bad experience with L'oreal so I figured why not? This is an amazing product. You don't need much. I just scooped a little off the lid & applied it to my washed damp hair for the 3-5 minutes recommended & styled my hair as usual. I thought when I got up the next morning my hair would probably look dry again but it looked as good as the night before. Soft & shiny. This stuff really works.Remember if you use any kind of heat on your hair to always use a heat protectant. Some people have mentioned the packaging so heads up, it does not have a seal or film over the jar. That doesn't bother me but if it bothers you, just letting you know in advance. This product is almost a miracle for my hair & exactly what I needed. Like I said you don't need much so I expect this jar to last a long time. But when I start to run out I'll definitely be buying it again.

Nice treatment…
Okay, so there’s a little bit of false advertising going on here; while this is a really nice deep conditioner for your hair it will not repair damage. Nothing repairs damage except for a haircut. I think this might prevent damage - it does smell nice, hydrate hair, and overall make hair a lot more manageable, but the claim of “repairing” is false. I do recommend this for deep conditioning use.

Long term use worked wonders on my extremely damaged hair
If you have damaged hair....like REALLY damaged hair, then you will likely like this Total Repair balm. My hair is so damaged from bleaching it and then going back to dark hair, but then accidentally frying it again using a high-lift on it after it had been bleached out, that if I don't use tons of products in my hair every time I shower, my hair is brittle enough it will break off when drying it. I have to deep condition it, then use a heat protectant on it, then add some hair conditioning lotion to it, then some light oil mist to it. All just so that when I dry it and then flat iron it, it doesn't break off (any more) and can look normal until I wash it again.I've stripped everything from my hair, and have been in repair mode now for over a year trying to grow out everything I've damaged. Sections of my hair won't even hold color any more. They are forever blond even though my natural hair color is dark brown. So all I can so while growing it out is try and work with my damaged hair to make it smooth and not break off.I've used a lot of deep conditioners on my hair and at this point only "deep" conditioners work at all for me. Regular conditioners do nothing. So the kind of conditioners that are designed more for weekly use, I use every other day. I've found one of my favorites is Pantene Pro-V Weekly Rehab Creme but it's always out of stock (for Prime) and the tube is really small. So since I can't usually find it, I ordered this L'Oreal balm to try and I found it works just as well and you get a whole lot more product. It works wonders for my hair and with regular use it's got my hair into a state where it's not feeling nearly as damaged. It's not feeling brittle and it has my hair feeling smooth and normal/undamaged again. I've been using this a little more than a month and I'm thrilled with the long term effects it's had on my hair. This balm works wonderful. Love it!
