Good value. Nice features.
I purchased this for my houseplants that need supplemental lighting through the winter months. My yard is heavily shaded and I have no South facing windows, so getting enough light inside is a challenge. Out of the box it seems to be a quality made product and a good value for the price. The clip is very strong and wider than others I’ve seen. I have it mounted in my 2” thick fireplace mantel and it’s holding there great, though I don’t think it would open much wider. The automatic timer feature built in is very convenient. You turn it on and set the timer for 3,6, or 12 hours and it will turn itself off and on at the same time every day. The arms are very flexible and able to provide light at different heights. I have only had it for a few days, but my small Aloe Vera seems to have perked up and gotten more firm since I switched out my old light for this one. She was looking really floppy since bringing her inside for the winter. I will update after a few weeks once I have more time to observe its effectiveness.Edit to add on 12/21/19: I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and my previously dormant plants have new growth in winter! See last two photos for new growth on my Aloe Vera and Fiddle Leaf Fig. I’m running the lamp 12-18 inches away for 12hrs daily.

Ordered a Second Set of These Lights
I like the design, the versatility, and the price of this product. I was led to this review page on route to registering for the warranty. I will post an updated review after I get a chance to use this lamp set with my hydroponic plants.12/12/20 I have been using the lights for a couple days for my hydroponic garden. I have not been able to figure out the buttons. When I followed the instructions to keep the lights on for 12 hours, the lights went completely off. I find the instructions hard to understand. Also, I sent two emails to customer service asking where to buy replacement lights should I ever need to do so. No response to either. That does not inspire confidence. When I registered the product, I received a message that I would receive a free gift. That was November 27 and it is now December 12. Nothing. So customer service is concerning at this point.12/29/2020 I ordered a second set because I liked the first set so well. I never did hear from Abbicen from my first set--I had an inquiry and also was promised a gift for having registered my warranty. But I like the lights and they work well for the needs of my hydroponic garden.

Very good light for the money
I am using it for vegetable seedlings (tomatoes, peas, cucumber etc). The timer function is nice and it was a nice surprise when it came on again without a timer. I thought I would have to manually do it each morning like with my other light.Mine is bright with no noticeable flicker, works as advertised and three heads is much better than my two head light. I knocked it down one star as the goose necks are a bit fiddly and tend to drift after being set, and the lights do not rotate so I have to twist the goose neck to get them in the right position. I do see in other videos where they do, but mine are fixed. Overall, I will likely buy again and replace my two headed lamp.

Great lights, strong clamp, flexible, sturdy
Update 2/2022:. This set of lights lasted almost 2 years before it quit working. Not sure if that's good or bad!2019: I've only been using the lights for about a week but so far they're working well.Essy to set up, they hold their places well. I like that I can set each light to focus on a different plant.I have them set up on a six hour timer. I do wish it had an eight hour option. I would prefer 6, 8, & 12 hour rather than a 4 hour option. The clamp is sturdy. That was the thing that I was most worried about but it is strong and should hold for as long as the lights work.

Great plant light for African Violets
I ordered this item to use with African Violets. Living in New Hampshire where winters are cold and dark, I needed a plant light to keep my plants healthy during the months when my plants need to be away from window areas. I have had my African Violet plants for many years, so I am pretty particular about the care they receive. I am happy to report that this light is excellent and that they are thriving with its use! The leaves are strong and green, and they are continuing to grow normally with this lighting as their only source. I highly recommend this light. The LED lights burn cool and the light-bar arrangement is great. I like the flexible arms that each light bar is attached to, which allows me to position the lights in the exact position I want.

My telepathic pitcher plant seems to enjoy being bathed under this light.
It comes with a 3 Amp 5 Volt USB power adapter which is capable of producing 15 Watts. I like the fact that I can find alternate uses for that adapter if the light fails on me, or if I choose to go with another light in the long run. I like the color temperature when both the deep blue and the deep purple leds are on together which produces a pleasing high kelvin perceived spectrum. When all leds are on and at their highest setting the power consumption is 12 Watts according to Kill-A-Watt, so don't let the listing fool you into thinking it is 27 Watts. The 27 Watt claim really makes no sense considering the incandescent equivalency rating should be much higher anyway, so I have no idea how they came up with that number, but don't rely on it; but then again, don't expect such a high number anyway, consider what you are paying for it. I should note I currently have two plants underneath this, and they both seem happy. The picture I submit with the review is a small pitcher plant and it is definitely growing happily under this light. I can tell the daily growth between each passing day. I do plan to setup bigger lights eventually, but I am happy with this purchase, and I do highly recommend it for small plants.
