Mixed Stainless Steel media bearings Shot Tumbling tumbler polishing metal 1kg

After looking at other products with not great reviews I ordered this one.This arrived well packaged, good quality mix of stainless steel polishing shot, weight was just over a kilo.Definitely good value for a very reasonable price.

I needed these to do a simple tumble on some brass parts I had fabricated and needed to brighten up. I found that a simple mixture of a few drips of washing up liquid, a sprinkle of citric acid, some water and a slow tumble with these stainless steel shapes gave a really nice bright, clean finish on the brass, the soldered areas (silver solder) came up clean too.The media stayed nice and bright too, no sign of any adverse effects with that mixture, obviously for other purposes a different solution would be required.This was for brass and for engineering finish only but I can see it working well for any bright finishing/light de-burring need. The quantity was good for the money too.Would recommend.

The Alfindings product is less than half the price of another jewellery supplies company. came well packed and arrived quickly. The only drawback is that I had to buy double the quantity I needed.

Good mix in the pot

Just the right amount for 2 small tumblers - I use mine with washing up liquid and gets my jewellery sparkling - some of the pieces are really small - great for getting into the small areas of jewellery.Would buy again.
