Just the job, works well and strong enough to pull tight and hold in place with baskets filled with pebbles. I am now holding all the edges with the baskets 🧺 so I can lift the net easily and just pull it tight when finished. Good value especially for the large size and small hole size. You can drop food through the net without any problems.

Liked - the ease of use, fit for purpose and the provision of pegs which would have secured the netting across the pond if grass was close to the pond. However, paving stones surround my pond and there is no grass near enough to fix the pegs. Fortunately i had some old paving slabs and bricks which worked well to affix the netting. Would highly recommend getting a net considerably bigger than your pond and ensure that you similarly have something heavy on all sides to pin down the net. Very good and seemingly strong netting and does the job so far in deterring the heron.

Highly recommended. Was previously using an old trampoline enclosure net after having a few visits from the local heron . This net is stretchy , Robust & perfect to keep on 27/4 . I’m able to keep them safe whilst still being able to see them (the temporary net made this impossible) . You can pretty much secured it to anything using cable ties aswell as the pegs provided . Due to my pond being in a corner with a fence directly behind it I was able to secure one side of it to the fence (higher up )whilst using the pegs to secure the front end . This allowed plenty of room for the pond plants without having to cut holes in the net for them . Great product

Very well packed and easy to place over pond area straight away. Very good value for money and you can see the fish quite clearly through the net. Great protection from the local Heron that’s been helping himself to smaller fish.

What can you say well I can say its keeping the fish safe from herons. The holes in the net are big enough for the fish food to go through and for them to be seen. Would we buy again definitely and the delivery was brilliant.

This is an honest review of the Alpine Reach Pond Netting Kit, which I have personally been using on my pond for over a year now. Pros: This is a high-quality net that holds up very well to all the elements the weather can throw at it, including heat, cold, and rain. I have had my net in place for over a year, and it has held up very well. The net is also strong. Mine has kept out cats, raccoons, and owls, so the build quality is on point. It was also very easy to install, as you just have to unroll it and hammer in the large staples with a mallet. Opportunities: I honestly can’t think of anything that would make this net any better. Overall: If you have or are planning to put in a fish pond (especially with high-dollar fish like koi), this net is essential to keeping your fish safe from predators. At first I had I wasn’t sure if I would like the appearance; however, now I no longer have to worry about the safety of my fish. As an added benefit, it also keeps the leaves out. Just make sure when you feed your fish, and some of the food catches on the top of the net, to just tap it a couple of times with your hands, and it will fall through. The Pleco wafers I have to push through are like putting a quarter in a machine.

Be sure you have the net exactly where you want it before inserting pegs because they do not come out easily. The product arrived very quickly. It was easy for a 76 year old woman to work with. Good product.
