Casio GSTB100BNR-1A G-Shock Tough Solar Mens Watch Black IP Stainless Steel

I bought this as a birthday gift for myself wanting something that could be worn to work in an office and be versatile for me to wear on an upcoming cruise so i wouldn't have to pack extra watches. The appearance is awesome, but i expected that. The descriptions for did not do a good job of communicating how advanced this watch actually is. The bluetooth connection through their app (yes, it's required to make the connection) was super easy and quick to sync current time and time zone. It blows my mind that this is available on a watch where its water resistant to 200m.The light feature puts out some serious lumens! It's not able to sustain a long burst, but I was able to use it for my son to find the light switch in a room when I was showing it off. It's hard to convey that on a web page, but is impressive.I have another G-Shock that is solar powered and syncs with the Naval atomic clock, so I knew what I was getting into with this one. However, it's still impressive that this can handle the computing aspect going on inside the watch with just the solar charge. I haven't used the stopwatch or alarm or timer functions yet, but I am confident that they won't disappoint.From an aesthetic view, the band/buckle/clasp are much nicer than what I anticipated (and also heavier, which may turn some people away). I have some watch buddies that want to see this live after I showed them pictures of it on my wrist.I started this process wanting a watch to look nice at work and provide function for me. I ended up finding a watch this is going to influence future purchases and set a standard that is going to be hard to maintain.

Very fun for everyday wear. The setup it a pain in the butt! Let it charge in the sun for a day before you pair the phone with Bluetooth, otherwise it won’t work 😜

Love the style of this watch. With the NDC strap on it I feel like an accomplished French Foreign Legion member hanging out at a cool jazz club on liberty enjoying freedom.Very nice watch.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first G-SHOCK. I get a lot of compliments on it. The black with blue accents are nice. It does not have as many features as some other G-SHOCK models though, but it looks good and it can find your phone so win win lol! Oh ya it tells time haha.

My watch seemed to be malfunctioning, it was already out of warranty, and yet, these guys took the time to have a look at it and send it back. If that is not excellent customer service, I don't know what it is. I would definitely buy from them again.
