I bought this after having a great experience with the triple cushion shave cream, and now I'm completely brand loyal to Jack Black.The cleanser does a great job of plowing through dirt and oil, and after you're done, your face feels like a completely blank slate. That being said, it does leave my face a little too dry. To remedy this, I just use face lotion afterwards.After two weeks of using this twice daily (with lotion), I can say that my skin has never been better. My face has been clean and zit-free, and I've had no problems with dry skin.As for the scent, it has an herb-y scent that I assume is from the sage it uses. After you rinse off the lather, there's no residual scent.As for the use and feel, you just wet your face, pump once for a quarter sized doodle, and that will give you enough lather to wash your whole face. The soap pumps out soft and lathers easily.

Product seems to work well after using every day for about a month. I have oily skin and this does a good job at treating that. However, I’m not sure it’s worth the price - you can get similar results with a product like CeraVe and pay much less.The smell is modest and doesn’t tingle or anything like that. It’s suds up nicely and has a fresh somewhat minty smell.

This cleanser is truly a step above the rest. It is pricy but worth the extra money. It makes a notable difference in skin tone within 3 days of twice daily use. Foams up slightly in the hands to give a great, extra clean sensation and scrubs deep without leaving the skin overly dry. It does have a very mild mint fragrance to it, nothing overly powerful. Very useful for combination oily/dry skin types. It does leave skin very slightly dry after application but if used in combination with a daily facial lotion there should be no issue with over dying. Very much recommended.

For everyone who hasnt realized, this stuff works for shaving too! Its like a 2 in 1 face clean/shave. I started shaving with this and its works better than regular shaving cremes with fragrance and chemicals. This stuff is smooth and natural. This is a great product and i love how i can wash my face and get a nice smooth shave with it too!

This is the only mens product line I use. It's great!
