Americolor Candy Oil - GREEN 2 OUNCE CANDY OIL COLOR

IG: ButtercreamPleaseI absolutely love working with Americolor dyes. It don’t alter the taste of my chocolate and the color pay off always hits the first time. I didn’t have to leave my sails overnight to dry more the color took the first time and dried quickly when mixed with the chocolate.

Love this product and would recommend. Only color in this brand I purchased so far but will buy again. The best part is NO aftertaste or chemical tasting. Pleasant no taste desserts and little bit goes long way.

Americolor is worth the money, hands down! It's a bit pricier than the Wilton colors - but don't let that determine which you buy. I may love Wilton, but they let me down on the candy color. Americolor is much better. Deeper color, no seizing of the candy (especially not with chocolate) than Wilton. Also better volume for the price! A little goes a long way with this color oil. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

It blended in the chocolate smoothly, thank goodness because Red from this seller did not.... But color wasn't vibrant. Like pale easter green, definitely not Color Mill.

This was my first time to use an oil-based coloring, although I use all other kinds (gel, powdered, liquid) on a regular basis. Maybe I'm just not familiar with oil dyes, but this seemed to take a lot to get the pastel shade I wanted--I'd estimate maybe 1/6 of the bottle for my 1/2 bag or so of chocolate chips, but it finally did the job. The only thing I really didn't like about it was that the cap is constantly leaking--I stored it in a ziploc bag after the first mess, but the next time I found it toppled over there was a good amount of liquid that pooled in the bag, so a good portion of my bottle is empty after 1 use. It could definitely use a new design for the top-- not sure if all oil brands are the same, but I may experiment with a different brand next time.

This is the best product and the ONLY product I'll use to color chocolate candy. You don't need a lot of it and it lasts a long time.
