Plant Therapy Gut Aid Essential Oil Blend 10 mL (1/3 oz) 100% Pure, Undiluted, Natural Aromatherapy for Upset Stomach Relief

About a year ago, I began having terrible problems with indigestion and all things associated with it, including the lumpy feeling in my throat from acid reflux. A friend recommended that I try peppermint oil. I began checking out the oil on Amazon and saw this. It has changed my life dramatically. I simply mix a few drops with coconut oil and rub it on my abdomen and throat each night before going to bed. After a few weeks of this, I noticed that I wasn't having indigestion any more and the lumpy feeling in my throat has markedly decreased. I am so grateful for this. It may not work for you, but it made all the difference for me...without ingesting medications with dangerous side-effects! Two things I would suggest to help decrease the potential for indigestion: (1) Figure out your "triggers" (one of mine is cooked tomatoes as in spaghetti sauce) and avoid them, especially in the evenings. (2) Don't eat late in the evening, and if you have such an occasion, don't lie down for a couple of hours. You can always doze in the recliner for a couple of hours or so prior to actually going to bed!

I purchased this for my 4-5 month old due to stomach issues that make it hard for him to tolerate dairy and soy in my breast milk and silent reflux issues. I read about other, much more expensive digestion oils and found this much more affordable alternative. First of all it smells great, even though it was HIGHLY diluted by me to massage onto his belly each night. (Diluted due to his age and recommendations to never put straight essential oils on an infant.) I can not say for sure, but his fussiness subsided in the evenings, he was previously only happy while nursing for extended periods of time, this gave me a break from the marathon sessions. Again, we also did gripewater at the same time, but I do not discredit the oils. I recommend this product, the price alone makes it worth the try, even if it was the placebo effect.

Update 12/4/18: Don't be a bonehead like me and not read up on essential oils to know not to apply this directly on the skin without diluting it! After days of an agonizing itchy rash that Benadryl spray and pills would not touch along with a visit to urgent care, I finally looked up the product and read that it needs to be diluted 3-5%. I guess now my only complaint is that the bottle, along with the bubble wrap, should have a slip of paper included with the warning for silly people like me. 10/2018: I didn't expect this to do much but to my surprise it works! Several times I've been preparing for bed, miserable and wondering how I'm going to sleep when my stomach is so distended and hurting. This is after taking gas pills and finding no relief. I rub the blend on my belly and am pleased to realize 15-20 minutes later that I'm no longer having issues. The scent is slightly strong but for someone who suffers from migraines, it doesn't bother me.

I didn't really know if this product was going to be as good as Duttera's Digestzen, but since there are only two ingredients missing and the reviews were all great and the price is so much cheaper I thought it was worth the try. I received my order yesterday and it so happened my chocolate lab got sick from something she ate. She was throwing up from 1 am to 3 am and was pretty miserable. Tums didn't work, so i finally tried Digest Aid oil. I rubbed the oil on her belly and cannot believe that my dog relaxed instantly within a minute and finally went to sleep. My husband and I could not believe it! This oil works on animals too!

I've been using essential oils for over twenty years and for some reason, I didn't think this would do anything. I relieved my burning stomach and reflux in a matter of minutes.

Plant Therapy never fails. I used to use a Doterra version of this product. I ran out of it, so I ordered from PT as they are my new supplier. It worked just as well for half the price. I'm very impressed. And it does work. Solves those stomach issues every time.

This essential oil seems to calm and soothe the colon. The scent is very agreeable to me, but then I like all essential oils. I bought the 30 ml size bottle and I'm glad I did, bc I indeed to use it often. I don't think you will be disappointed with this oil. Most of the essential oils I use are formulated by Planet Therapy.

I don't see how our provides relief. But the scent us ok.
