I couldn’t be happier with this Hooke Road Interior Cargo Rack! From the moment it arrived, it was clear this was a high-quality product. It came well-packaged with no damage during transit, which was a big relief considering the size and weight of the item. Installation: The rack fit perfectly in my Jeep—no adjustments or extra tools needed. Everything lined up exactly as it should, making the installation process straightforward and hassle-free. Even for someone who isn’t super handy, this was a breeze to set up. Durability: Once installed, I tested it with some heavy gear, and it handled the weight like a champ. I had a rack from another company on my two door jeep. When I got my four door jeep, I looked at that model and Fournd the top was completely smooth with no holes for hold downs and no rim. To reduce sliding. This rack has about a four inch rim plus there are many cut outs for hold downs straps. It is very rugged and easy to install. For a day of off-roading, all gear will fit under the rack so I don’t need hold downs. They only downside it cannot fold up for carrying large bulky items.

Installed the Hooke Road JLU Cargo Rack on our 2020 4-door Rubicon in August of 2021. The rack arrived without blemishes and with all the necessary parts. Construction quality is adequate, but not remarkable. Fit was perfect and only took about 30 minutes, with 5 minutes of help from a second pair of hands, to attach it to the roll bar. I followed other reviewers' advice and did not tighten the fasteners until all were in place. The included cargo net is substantial, but I drilled holes to install a pair of heavyduty truck bed tie down anchors (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q2H38F6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so I could use ratchet straps to secure the tubs we use for off-road tools, recovery gear, and supplies. I cut to fit a 1/2" thick shop floor mat to keep gear sliding and rattles to a minimum. I chose this cargo rack because of the excellent price point and because it divides the vertical space about in half. There is a tad over 18" between the bottom of the rack and the carpet in our Wrangler so consider carefully what you may want to store under the rack. I was especially pleased that it allowed full access to our XG Cargo XG-314 Gama Wrangler JL Roll Bar Mounted Storage Bags. It works out great for grocery runs because the bags fit either under and/or on top. We took three off-road trips last fall and the cargo rack worked out well, did not rattle or develop loose bolts. I give it a thumbs up without any reservations.

I bought this for my 2020 jeep wrangler JL sport, I had a sitting in my Amazon cart for weeks, unsure if I should buy or not, I am glad I did! It was fairly easy to install, a little heavy and cumbersome to do one person so ask someone for a hand holding the shelf in place while you bolt it in. I love love love how organized this helped me get my jeep cargo area. I have my gear strapped down on the top which leaves plenty of room for luggage, groceries, or my recovery gear when I go off roading. Before, my gear would slide around in the back, then have to push it all back in place when I neeeded to haul something in the cargo area. It drove me crazy. With this everything is nice and tight and tidy!!! I read another review, one of the reasons I hesitated buying , they said they had rattling, I have zero rattling. This is very strong and I think it will hold up very nicely for as long as I own my Jeep!

It’s a solid product I hope it stays solid. The biggest complaint is the welding looks like it was done by a blind man or a child. For $259 it shouldn’t look that bad. It’s a super easy install. It says 1 hour it took me 20 mins at most. It’s solid. The net is a mess but all them like these are. Over all good I’ll update if I have issues. Just better welds people good lord.

We take the jeep on family vacations and this worked perfectly to help us get the back end more organized and to prevent crushing the bags on the bottom. An added benefit would definitely be the storage on the sides that the shelves that secure the tray creates and it is a very good cover for the back so I can keep my golf clubs in the back of the jeep without worrying about someone being able to see them. I am not sure it makes a big difference in any performance areas but it is an easy install and provides a stable base for helping you stay organized for those times when you have a bunch of stuff in the back. The netting is also very helpful to keep things tied down and to prevent it from sliding forward in a sudden braking situation. I would definitely recommend this product to any Jeep JL owners.

Fits in my 2022 JL Wrangler Unlimited like a glove. No rattles or squeaks, black paint looks nice, easy install, gave me the extra space I was looking for, great mod for $250.00

I've had this 3 years now, I have zero complaints, it does get dark under the rack especially at nights, I just installed some cheap led strips that plug into the rear cigarette lighter outlet. I remove it at times to transport large stuff, reinstall is easy, I just left the tray with one hand, then line up one hole, usually the back right, insert the bolt, that holds one end up, then I catch the black left, then one of the inside, then the other, then I finally install the nuts, you can use a box to hold it up of sorts, I did that on the initial install, but now I've mastered it.
