Perfect butter dish
Perfect size, perfect weight and a gorgeous look! My European sized butter (12.065cm x 6.985cm or 4 3/4in x 2 3/4in) fits perfectly, as well as my universally sized block of cream cheese. This stainless steel butter dish is greatly superior to my former plastic dish (too many chemicals) and even better than my former glass dish (highly breakable and too heavy). I've finally found the perfect butter dish!

Well made, looks nice, perfect size
Ideal if you dont refrigerate your butter. Well made, looks nice in my minimal kitchen, lid fits nicely and seals well, thin metal but feels solid enough, the polished finish has held up nicely, even in my home. Fits european buter size or (2) 1 cup bars if you trim 1/3 off each end (see pic), bar of cream cheese perfectly.

Works Nicely For My 2 Butter Dish System
I bought this specifically to hold 2 regular sticks of butter but the dish part is only 3 inches wide, not 4 inches, and when you put 2 sticks inside, they do not drop to the bottom and then the lid sqeezes the sides and top. Fine for 1 regular stick of butter. So I bought 2 butter dishes and they work nicely for 1 regular stick. My wife found a narrower/longer style of stick butter and they fit inside snuggly. I prefer just 1 stick for this style and that works fine. As far as craftsmanship, the stainless steel is just minimally thick enough. My lids fit fine, and my hands and my wife's hanads wrap around it to pick it up and move from the kitchen to the dining table easily. I'm glad I bought 2 so I always have one in service and can wash the other. In the long run, this is better than my old plastic dish which was a constant mess. I'm giving it 5-Stars because for the price, I couldn't find anything else. And I've been using them for about a month and I have become pleasantly surprised. They wash up very nicely and easily. I recommend it, but then I bought two and I'm not like every other kitchen chef - I like my system. UPDATE: I've been using my two butter dishes for 10 months now and just love them. They don't show any wear. If you towel dry them, then they will have that shiny luster just like new looks like forever. They are a nice weight, can be picked up with one hand easily for both men and women, and carry from the kitchen to table, nook, or living room easily. With my two dish system, I always have fresh and clean butter; no mess. I don't have to constantly put a new butter stick on top of a nearly finished one making the inside a mess. They hand wash in the sink in an instant very easily. And remember to towel dry it / them for spotless clean. For casual family use, can't beat the price and I like the quality.

Good quality, durable, light weight
Good quality. Many other of our butter dishes had lids that broke, or the lid knobs snapped off. This dish has really held up well. I bought a second one to give as a gift. It can hold two sticks of butter at once, if needed. Easy to clean and very happy with this dish.

Sturdy, simple, durable butter dish
This is a simple covered butter dish made of stainless steel. It's wide enough for one of those double wide Kerry Gold packages I like to use or a single stick. I keep butter on the counter, hence the need for a cover, but the glass or ceramic ones are problematic because after a while the lid usually breaks, not because it's poorly made but because I eventually drop it. This may dent, but it won't break. Has a functional handle that's easily grasped, not a little nub that can slip through your fingers. It's easy to clean and I like the shiny surface. Not fancy, just well designed, no decoration or words like "Butter" etched into it. Sturdy, simple and durable!

Well-made stainless butter dish
LOVE this! I make my own butter, so I wanted a double space butter dish - single stick--or a brick of butter. It's got an easy grasp lid and it's stainless, so its versatile for the aesthetics in my kitchen! I selected this one over a dozen others! DD

Beats plastic and ceramic
If you’re clumsy like me and want a sturdy butter holder this is it. It holds two full sticks and stays room temp. Easy to wash, and don’t have to worry about things like microplastics or heavy breakable lids. Love this butter holder!

Smooth finish shows fingerprints
Stainless steel is beautiful but shows fingerprints and greasy stains.
