Amazon Basics Foldable Concertina Indoor Clothes Airer, 74.9 x 36.8 x 106.2 cm (LXWXH), Chrome

There are always times when an indoor clothes airer is going to be needed and, after much searching on Amazon, I decided to buy this product. Delivered in a sturdy cardboard box which gave good protection, this is the stainless steel model with black hanging rails. It was very stiff to open up at first, and to keep it upright the top section has to be fitted onto the opposite rail. At the moment, this is also very stiff but only because the product is new. There is a mass of storage space and plenty of room between the hanging rails so that clothes are not clinging to one another - so making drying faster. I did like the design at the top. It has a number of close hanging rails for smaller items, such as socks perhaps, but could also be used for clothing that needs to be dried flat. This is quite a sizeable item (width-wise), wider than my old one, but it is so lightweight I have hung it on a couple of over-door coat hooks inside a hallway cupboard. Perfect. Out of the way until needed and so light it doesn't put any presser on the door - or the hooks, for that matter. If you are looking for a basic indoor clothes airer, I don't think you need look any further. This is perfect for the purpose. If you do intend placing it outside, I would suggest not using it in breezy/windy conditions else it could easily be blown over. That being said, this is designed for indoor use - or perhaps for use on a balcony. Easy 5 star rating left for this product and I will certainly be recommending it to friends.

Was really fed up keeping buying airers and they kept buckling and breaking. Brought cheap ones to expensive kinky ones. This one is very good! Very sturdy, lightweight easy to use and fold away. Made very well. Only disappointment was how short it is. I expected it to be higher or at least as high as your average one. Will say I’m not one to look at measurements. Just wish they did it in a talker version. However I am very happy and will purchase more

Bought a while back very robust and with a good capacity. Lower chest height for some one 5'7"

Reviewing after 3 years of ownership. I have bought three of these in total and I like their compact size. However, the screws on the sides need tightening frequently and the plastic parts are prone to breaking. I now have just two of them after sacrificing one of them to mend the other two. These have been very useful but if they were sturdier they would be perfect.

We now have three of these - lightweight and easy to lift with a full load of laundry. They fold down small and seem to be lasting for a few years already.

I had to purchase a new clothes horse after my foster kitten somehow broke my other one. I went for this one. It is sturdy and good quality however I find it to be a bit too small. It would be a good secondary clothes horse if you need extra drying space, but it shouldn't be a main one due to how little space there is.

I am very impressed with this item. Price-wise excellent value. I wanted an airer where the horizontal drying bars were thicker than what was usually on offer from other manufacturers and this item fits the bill. The dryer is wide but more than manageable from a storage point of view. I would definitely recommend as it does not need to be constructed from various pieces and can be raised easily in one motion and also stored away compactly when required.

This Amazon Basics foldable drying rack is a great environmentally friendly solution and a nice cost-saving measure if you want to air-dry more laundry instead of using the dryer. I use it both inside and outside, and it has been very convenient. The rack feels like a high-quality product. It is lightweight and easy to move, but still sturdy enough for regular use. I also appreciate that there are no jagged edges, so I do not worry about it snagging clothes. It folds down and stores easily when not in use, which is a big plus. I have bought two so I can hang an entire large load of laundry, but one would probably be enough for a few delicates or smaller loads. Overall, this is a practical, easy-to-use drying rack that works well and helps save energy.

Good product. Easy and smooth to fold unfold. Like its compactness when folded, can fit in gaps for storage in my small apartment. I like that the product doesnt have those small bars/lines, which can easily bend and break and become too crowded to even dry laundry. Although I think price wise this is not an absolute banger. Could be priced more competitive.
