Gibson EliteCouture Bands Round Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for Four (16pcs), Blue and Cream

Absolutely beautiful dinnerware! I am so happy with this set...they are heavier than other dinnerware I've had but I like that; they have that quality feel to them. I originally ordered 2 sets of 4pcs and was so impressed I ordered one more set of 4.They were packaged extremely well, arrived within a few days with no chips or other issues.The bottoms are finished smooth so I have no concerns that my table will be scratched or my cabinet liner torn.I chose the color Taupe and was expecting the color pictured - which reminded me of a brown mustard but when they arrived they are an actual taupe color ( medium brownish grey) which I also like and works with my decor.They are easy to clean and because I have a ceramic sink I placed a sink liner on the wash side to help in protecting them from accidentally getting chipped.I took a few pictures to show their color, how well they work together and how they fit in my cabinets.My cabinets measure 35w x 9h x 11d and while I could have stacked the bowls, it seemed a tight fit so I opted to split them to make it easier getting them out when needed. For reference, 8 bowls stacked measures slightly more than 7 inches.As I've said, I really like this set and would recommend them.

What's more, they fit flawlessly into my dishwasher, outperforming even my beloved round plates and bowls.At $46.60 per set, this purchase was an absolute steal, and I couldn't be happier with the value for money. The color, slightly darker than depicted in the pictures, turned out to be a delightful surprise, adding even more charm to my dining experience.

A little heavy, but absolutely worth it! I love the colors as it matches exactly what I envisioned to go with my cafe themed kitchen. I bought 2 sets so I would have enough for 8 people. The coffee mugs are a great size and not those little rinky dink cups.

These dishes appear to be sturdy. The colors are vibrant. They are a little larger than my previous dishes. Going from Corelle to these dishes there is definitely a weight difference, but I really like them. One of the bowls was cracked in half upon delivery. I sent an email to Gibson Home asking where I could obtain a replacement. Within a week I received a replacement bowl. Great customer service.Update: I have been using these dishes for 1 year. Sorry to say they scratch easily so they don’t look as nice as when I purchased them. Considering I have two 4 piece sets and only two people in our house, I would have expected them to not be as scratched as they are. I like the coffee mugs because they are large, but the coffee cools off in ten minutes and I have to keep reheating the coffee in the microwave. I will probably have to buy new dishes in the next few years because of how easily they scratch.

I love this dinner set and It’s Beautiful! I like them so well I this is my 2nd set to have enough for 8. There’re well made not thin. I get many compliments on them. Dishwasher and microwave safe. I have used in oven for broiler to brown something or to keep warm for short periods. Never had any break. The dishes come Very well packed. They’re packed with cardboard layers in between each dish in 5 boxes inside 2 other boxes. No slop to fall around and get broken. You can’t beat the price either. Because of the quality I will continue to stick to this brand.

This is the second set of Gibson stoneware dishes I've purchased. The quality of these dishes is superb. I changed up my kitchen and wanted something to match my new colors, and these fit the bill. I went from a 12 piece place setting of the Casa Roja, to these gorgeous dishes, setting for 8. They clean up great in the dishwasher. I don't put my stoneware in the microwave, but wouldn't hesitate, if I felt the need to. Like I said, the quality is great, and the price was even better, getting them on sale!

Just received over the weekend and I’m loving my new set. They came packed tripled boxed ( 2 from manufacturer & 1 Amazon box ) and packed so nicely/ secured. Nothing was broken or chipped when I took out of the box. The coloring of my set was exactly shown, actually even better in person. Microwave safe as we already used one of the smaller plate in microwave. Highly recommend this set!

Really nice dishes. Unfortunately, roughly three days after purchasing the set I already shattered a plate. I was heartbroken. It was completely my fault though, and has no bearing on the quality of the wares. Might buy a second backup set to account for my goofy ass dropping things. Wish you could buy individual pieces haha.

This dinnerware set arrived with nothing broken or cracked. I love the design and the dishes have a nice glaze to them. I've only just received them so not too sure how durable they are, but so far, so good. There was a small flaw on one of the dinner plates, but very small and it isn't a problem. The dishes are quite heavy, so if you want something lighter, these aren't for you. The large soup bowls are really nice for salads, chili, noodle dishes, etc. I'm very pleased with them.
