Sturdy
Well made and sturdy. I tend to quickly go over the instructions - mistake. Got it all done then realized the holes for the upright handle were in the wrong place.Had to redo it. The wrench is difficult to work with. Got a good wrench 🔧 and things went smoothly.

QUALITY PRODUCT WITH A NICE PRICE
I used this right after I had a total knee replacement. It is really well built and very sturdy. Just be careful when you put your weight on it and it will work fine.

Great step, very secure with handle.
Bought this for my short daughter, that has a very high bed. It works great, gives her the step up she needs, without taking up space and looking ugly. It slides under the bed so not real noticeable. Easy to put together and very sturdy.

Stool
Its very sturdy but not easy to assemble for women. Had to take the handle to Home Depot. I couldn't make it strong, wouldn't screw in. He said the screws for handle were reversed. He got it done. Also middle screw on stool was just a hole, couldn't make it work. It didn't affect the other legs.

It's exactly as advertised!!
Firstly I'd like to address the negative reviews. Some of the reviews show screws going through the base/foot stand area. This is an assembly error. There are 5 shorter screws that attach the base to the stand. Don't use the long screws they may go through if forced. The 4 long screws are for the handle to stand connection. Some reviews showed the handle wouldn't fit the base stand too attach, it wasn't wide enough. This is also an assembly error. As you can see in my photo's the stand is rectangular in shape. Be sure to put the pieces with the holes on the same end (short side) rather than the long side. I almost made that mistake simply not paying attention. This has been extremely helpful for my mother. Its very sturdy.. note the sturdiness comes from the balance of weight so standing on or stepping one foot on before pulling on the hand brace keeps you steady. Its an excellent and most helpful product. Great for many uses.Stepping to reach higher up.Getting into a higher vehicle where running boards still maybe too high.So many uses.I truly recommend this for hurt legs or feet cast users and older people that just need a little step up.Instructions are clear it's easy to assemble. If used for a vehicle it easily fits into the back floorboard.

Step Stool
The step stool was exactly what I wanted! It was easy to put together with the provided tool and included necessary hardware. It has safety features such as non-slip surface and also piece on top of handle to help with grip and I appreciate that very much. It comes with safety feet to keep stool stable when using. Don't hesitate to buy.

Used Without A Problem For More Than Six Months...
I bought this item for an elderly woman who broke her leg and needed to step up to get into her high bed. Her doctor was concerned that it might create a safety hazard for her, but she used it carefully and gradually came to depend on it. The high handle is key to providing stability during the process. The step is very sturdy. She steps up facing the bed, and using the handle, slowly rotates and sits back onto the bed. Now, more than six months later, her leg is healed but she continues to use it because it has become so easy for her to use. She hasn't had a single problem using it. She doesn't use it to get out of bed. She just slowly slides off the edge of the mattress onto her feet. The doctor recommended lowering her bed, but it is inclined to keep her head elevated at night (due to GERD), and she wants to keep her bed as it is. The step has served her needs very well.
