What is the height between the ground and the first step and between the first and top step of this rubbermaid step stool?Thanks

total height is 16 inches.The first step is 8 inches from the floor,the top step is 16 inches high.I hesitated in buying a plastic step stool,as i thought that i needed something more stable,but this thing is perfect.My wife is pretty messed up,and needs two knee replacements,although she is not old.She is real happy with this.it will not ever slip.

What is the weight of the stool?

I weighed the Rubbermaid RM-P2 2 stool on my cat scale and it weighed 5.26 lbs!! The stool is light but it is very sturdy!!

does this item have non slip pads on the bottom of the legs ?

Yes. Smallish round rubber ones. Maybe one inch diameter.

Is the back actually vertical so it lines up flush against a cabinet or wall?

The correct answer is what Meredith Magee posted. If you place it flush against a wall, the top will be about 1 1/2 inches from the wall. It is a very nice sturdy step stool.
