I am absolutely loving this Crate 61 bar soap! It can be tough to find scented soaps that don't dry out your skin or trigger breakouts, but this plant-based cold process formula is incredibly gentle. It leaves my face and body feeling clean, thoroughly hydrated, and soft without any tight or stripped feeling.The biggest plus for me is that it causes absolutely zero skin irritation. The mango scent is wonderful, noticeable and refreshing without being overwhelming or synthetic. It lathers up beautifully and holds its shape well without getting mushy immediately. If you have sensitive skin and want a high-quality, natural soap that actually works, this 3-pack is a fantastic value. Highly recommend!

Great shower soap. I was looking for Patchouli scented soap and found this Crate 61 Patchouli Lime. It smells great, lathers well, rinses well, and leaves my skin feeling great. Gotta buy more in other scents.

I’ve been using these bars on both my face and body, and they feel really gentle on the skin. The coconut scent is light and natural, not overly sweet or fake-smelling, which makes it nice for everyday use.The lather is creamy and rinses off easily without leaving my skin dry or tight. I also like that the ingredients are simple and vegan, it feels good knowing I’m not putting a bunch of extras on my skin.Each bar lasts a decent amount of time, and the 3-pack makes it convenient to stock up. It’s a nice option if you want something natural, cruelty-free, and good for sensitive skin.

I like this bar soap. It lathers, cleans, and rinses effectively and does not dry out my skin. It exfoliates lightly. It's a decent size and shape bar that makes it convenient and easy to use. The package count is a reasonable 3 bars and the packaging in minimal. Its a well made bar of soap. And its plant based and natural. The scent smells great and is subtle and not perfumy. I'm a guy and this soap is great for me.I have long been on a quest to find a bar soap that doesn't dry out my skin and has a scent for a guy without being a stupid scent like burned wood, leather, tobacco, etc. Plus the bar shouldn't be so big and heavy that its difficult to use, to store, or breaks your foot if you drop it. I also don't want to have to buy 12 bars at once nor should it be super expensive. Plus has to be natural and biodegradable. I found a brand and bar that did all that and used for a number of years, but then they stopped making it. So, I went on a new quest of many different bar soaps and when I found this one, it checked all the boxes and expect it will be my new ongoing bar soap for years to come.

We love this soap. It is natural and cleans really well with a very light scent. My skin is not dry after using it and I love that it has crushed seashells for exfoliating. I even got my husband to switch to this soap.

Great Soap. I spend about $75 for spa quality face wash because of my skin type but this works better and even calms my skin better. It smells great and can be used on the body and face. My skin loves it. I’m a customer for life.

I’m not quite sure how to rate this. 3 stars feels a little low but 4 stars feels like too much.The soap itself is great. I do like it. It lathers really well. It smells great. The scent does linger throughout most days, and it’s hot and humid as heck here this time of year. It rinses completely away with no oils or film left on me, so I don’t sweat like crazy throughout the day. And it doesn’t dry my skin out.All that really is great.But these bars are quite small and don’t last very long. Not for me, anyway. The box, which is a very nice presentation for the product, comes with three bars. I received mine June 27th. I shower once daily. Today is July 31st, and I’m two days into my third bar. It will last about two weeks, give or take a few days, maybe.So, one box of 3 bars will last about an average of 6 weeks or so.$12 bucks a month, basically, for shower soap. I mean, I guess if you have the money to spend and prefer small batch artisanal soaps, then it’s okay.I’m on the fence about whether it’s worth it for me, but as I write this review, I do like the soap and will order it again. I will switch if I find another soap, like Pre de Provence for example, I like more and that lasts longer, but at present I’ll use this.

So, there are some ups and downs here but the downs are really what you should expect when you buy natural/organic soaps.Firstly, being made almost entirely from saponified fats (this is a long and complicated bracket - fats are turned into soap and alcohol by action of heat in the presence of aqueous alkali, making them effective cleansers and able to foam... you could do this yourself at home quite easily) these soaps will leave a pretty grotty residue on the sides of your bath (if you've ever used African black soap you will know what I mean). Unlike other soaps which will mix with water more easily, sap fat soaps will cause a scum on the surface of the water which will attract skin cells and the like, forming a crust around the water line. Unless you want to clean your bath more often - only use these in the shower to avoid the scum building up or rinse thoroughly!The second thing to consider is that for the same reason as above, these soaps direly need to be kept dry when not in use. If you leave them in a damp shower bowl they will not last half as long as a bar of standard anti-bacterial soap.Aside from that, I have little else to say. Being from Canada, I don't think the lavender smell is quite as strong as true English lavender or even French but the smell is evident and very pleasant. There is also a minimal amount of texture to the soap so when used directly on the body they have a mild exfoliating effect. These bars foam extremely well for what they are.7.5/10.

This is my favourite soap! It’s great for acne and has really helped me clear acne on face and body.
