The Marijuana Strain Grower's Bible: with over 500 strains Kindle Edition

Not much information in here will be useful to growers. It has a lot of well-known strains in it, who bred them, where they came from and what they are crosses of. That's pretty much it. There is no information on the climate they're grown in--in fact, there's no mention of temperature at all. Also no mention of common issues you might come across when growing said strain either. It's Leafly in a book. Useless.

This book was Nothing like the description that was given on Amazon!!! I bought this specifically to know what strains specifically need in order to thrive and be the best they can be given my climate. There is NOTHING IN HERE that even described any of that. This was a waste of my money. How can you give such a detailed bio on Amazon and then this is what I get??? Where is the info about climate??? Hot and humid tropical or Mountain regions??? Doesn’t say. More or less water??? Doesn’t say. Hearty strain or one that needs pampering??? Doesn’t say. Don’t waste your cash....especially during a pandemic when money is tight!!! I wish I never bought this!! There is NOTHING in this book that was helpful.

It’s great if you want detailed information on specific strains that have been out in the market for many years. Which is why I gave it three stars. I will probably only use this as a reference guide for those particular strains. It’s also great if you’re a beginner but don’t use this as your only source of info. if you’ve been doing this a few years and you’re looking to up your game this isn’t the book for you.

This book is ok for a reference. It seems as though it went to press with ZERO edits or without even being proof read. Spelling and intelligible phrases are strewn throughout the pages. I thought that if I bought a retail product such as this then, it would be a bit more professionally put together. Serves me right when I ignored the very title's inaccuracies. There are no "strains" in pro cannabis land. The proper nomenclature is cultivar. All in all it's worth a couple $'s as a reference but rife with inaccuracies so be wary and do your own homework

After reading just a few pages I found a few words that weren’t spelled correctly. The book doesn’t go over as much as I was hoping that it would. It does give you some information on strains so that was the only positive, but over all I was disappointed. This book is intended for someone that is just learning, I wouldnt recommend it for someone that is experienced and is wanting more than basic information.

Well written and well documented book. Intense information about how to grow the Marijuana you need or just want for fun with weed.The author is someone who not only experienced the sixties, but remembers a tremendous amount from that time in spite of the warnings.Enjoyable and seemingly accurate methods to produce the correct Marijuana for whatever ails you. Love it!!!!

This book is different than I expected, but in a good way. Most of the book is filled with the strains.There are 14 pages (7 pages are a glossary) with something other than strain info. The rest is all some info on 500+ strains.

The term "Bible".....someone should suffer biblically for using such a pure term around pure used toilet paper! Don't waste your money or your insurance copays to get your eyes fixed......If I had purchased a hard copy? I would be using it as firewood during this polar vortex!!!! LOLGod should seek out the author for putting bible on the cover of such a pathetic attempt at nothing

Don't buy this abomination. It is a horrid waste of paper. It isn't even printed on hemp. It uses the derogatory politicised name "Marijuana" rather than cannabis. It uses the incorrect term "strain" rather than cultivar. It repeats entries again and again; which are only plagerised from Leafly and other net sources. It's badly compiled and type set.It's not as puritanical and funny as "the Obama File" and nowhere near as absorbent as the Book of Mormon. So definitely the worst book in print imho. Buy seeds instead.

Lot of strange repeats. No colourful pics or nothing..just listed strains and many repeated with exact same text. Very hard read and quiet a big book as well.

I was looking for a book that would have information on pretty much every variety of cannabis out there and this book does exactly what it says on the tin.

It doesn't go into much detail at all about each strain. It was neat to read about some strains I've never heard about, at least. Overall, the breeder's catalogues online probably have more info about strains you're interested in than this book does.The grammar and spelling is absolutely atrocious, as well as the formatting, and entries repeat multiple times.
