Kaplan GED Test 2015 Strategies, Practice, and Review with 2 Practice Tests: Book + Online (Kaplan Test Prep) 12th Edition

Let me start off by saying I had this book for like a month and studied a part of it everyday, I took my test yesterday and passed!!!! With that being said i felt like science was my weakest area, so that's the subject i crammed for in the two days previous to the test. The science part had so much information and every time i took the pretest i got like a forty percent. My results came back and that was the subject I got the highest in. I guess what I'm trying to say is most of the test itself was easier than the the pretests that this book and website gave. I know I passed and i have to say Im 26 so this stuff isnt like fresh in my head, but anyways the only reason I cant give it a five is because it goes way in depth on certain, unimportant things and doesnt go in depth on the things that it should. But hey I passed so it must of helped!!!

I have not taken my G.E.D test quite yet but this review book is awesome. It's breaks everything down step by step so it's easy for you to comprehend everything that will be on you test. Another feature or two that I like is that it's not out of date and teaches the new things gs that will be included on the 2014-2015 version of the GED tests. The second feature I like is that it also has 2 online practice tests so you can pick your brain before you waltz into the test station and that your test. It helps you find out your where you are doing good in certain subjects and where you are down falling in others. Where ever it shows you aren't doing so hot in a subject just open the book to that chapter and learn it easy as pie as they break it down for you.

This book is huge. It covers every possible subject that *might* be on your GED test. For me, it was too daunting. I used GED.com's practice tests ($24 total) to see how I would do on the real test, and brushed up on some math with Kahn Academy (free). Then I took the actual GED test ($120 in my state) and passed with flying colors. If you had a very limited education, however, this book might be more useful to you.

First I must say I do not work for or advertise for Kaplan.I purchased this book in February/March 2015.I found it to be an excellent book in terms of the Math and Science sections (did not need English or Social Studies).I also used the new Mcgraw Hill GED textbook as a secondary assistant to this book.I took both tests second week in april and passed on my first try.It was alot of studying and hard work and it paid off.I now have my GED diploma. The TI-30XS calculator is also a must have..practice how to use it as it will help save time on the math test.Hope this review helps...Goodluck!

i bought this in 2015 i read it and did the stuff in it but im not really good at studying.. i ended up just taking the HiTEST and got a really high score on it without studying the only thing this helped me with was the correct way to write the essay for the GED other than that i dont think there was anything else from this book that helped me on it

I knew I didn't need a ton of help to pass the GED. I almost finished high school. I needed help with math, and it gave that, I needed help with science and it gave that. But the big bonus is you take a test in the beginning and it tells you what to study, plus the practice tests at the end gave me a big confidence boost. I passed with honors on my first attempt, and this book was a big help

I am currently using this book to help with my ged. It has a lot of practice test and is very informative. It's up to date and seems a lot harder than other books I've purchased, but to me I think that's better. Whether or not the information on the test will be as hard as some of the practice test in the book, I believe it will prepare me better. If your looking for a good book that will make you more knowledgeable, I'd buy this one. I think with good material, dedication and hard work, anyone can pass the GED test.

Ordered it on prime, here within the 2-days. Have not been able to go through it all and plan out lessons but from what I have been able to read, it seems very detailed and helpful. Not only does it teach you on the subjects needed( mostly overview of course) but it teaches essential test taking skills that is vital when taking a standardized test. I highly recommend this book brand new because you can also register the book online and take practice questions, make lesson plans and get an idea to how the computer format on the test will be like
