Great Didgeridoo. Beautiful painted artwork. A little heavy.
This is my 6th Didgeridoo and my first hardwood one. it is beautifully painted as well as a great diameter for a beginner to get good back pressure on. PERFECT for someone trying to perfect their circular breathing. Big fat didgeridoos are too hard for beginners to play, this one is PERFECT, IMHO.It is 3 pounds but since you normally play with it on a stand or on the ground and not holding that is not that much of an issue..I have been playing it all day since I got it.. I really really really like it.I got it on sale about 50% off so I think is was a screaming great deal.

I'm not a pro but
This didge is good nice solid wood and the artwork was better than expected. It sounds pretty legit. after four days I'm able to get a handle on circular breathing, I can only assume that means it has good back pressure. At first it seemed nearly impossible, but now it's getting to be almost natural.

Unsure of the quality. Split after 4 years & not much use.
I enjoyed this didgeridoo while it lasted. I purchased it in 2014. While the sound was not great, it was good. I always kept it wrapped in a sheet during storage or transportation. It was never abused, banged around, etc. In late 2018 I took it to a festival, but when I unwrapped it I was surprised to find a big split on the side of it. Not sure what could have caused this. There was no way to salvage the didgeridoo.

Looks awesome wish it worked for me.
It's disheartening to report that upon arrival, the Didgeridoo I received had a crack in its shaft and the wax on the top part wasn't perfectly set. It seems like there may have been an unfortunate mishap during delivery. Nevertheless, I wanted to provide my honest feedback on the experience thus far.

Beautiful, heavy and hand painted addition to our decor!
I am going to come on out and admit I really am NO EXPERT on didgeridoos (didgeridii?) but I flipping lurve this thing! I bought this to use as a decorative piece in my living room and am waiting (not too patiently) for my husband to figure out how to he's going to hang it on my living room wall.In the meantime I have to say I could not be more impressed with the quality of this piece. It has some stunningly vibrant and attractive hand painting on it, I love the colors and the gecko pattern. It is a true solid wood piece and has some true heft to it, this obviously isn't a cheap imitation. Now of COURSE I have attempted to play my awesome new musical instrument since it has arrived but I have no idea what I am doing other than having way too much fun for a thirty year old mom on a Tuesday morning. ;p Right now I'm thinking about buying a second to give in our White Elephant gift exchange this year and in the meantime would definitely recommend anyone in a didgeri-type market. ;pI was not compensated in exchange for my review but I did purchase this product at a discount so I could provide an unbiased and honest review. All opinions are my own and are the direct result of my personal interactions with the item. :)

I will never be purchasing from World Percussion again. Terrible didge not worth the low price tag.
This was not worth even the meager $80 I paid for it. When I got it out of the box I was so excited to start learning to play this wonderful instrument and thought maybe I wouldn't need to spend a fortune on a ridiculously high-quality and pricey instrument. As it turns out that was my first mistake. You get what you pay for when it comes to musical instruments and this was absolutely no exception.First off: the aesthetics...The wood was rough and sort of splintery on the outside, right out of the box. The painted designs looked sloppy and hastily-done as though they were an afterthought. The bell end was hardly flared out at all and it was hard to differentiate one side from the other. The beeswax gave away which side to place your mouth on but that was about it.Second: the functionality...This instrument played like crap first and foremost. The didge had splits and holes in the sides of it where you could feel air being forced out when you tried to play it. The bore was so narrow that it was nearly impossible to get a good sound going in the first place. The shell had a thickness of at least a half an inch around the whole thing and the actual bore was barely an inch and a half wide if even that. The beeswax was hard to work with and incredibly sticky and thinly applied to the instrument so it was even harder to shape it correctly. Due to all of these things the instrument sounded like absolute s*** when played.I will never be purchasing from World Percussion again.
