MG Collection Marissa Top-Handle Doctor Shoulder Bag

I purchased the MARISSA Blue Office Tote Top Double Handle Doctor Style Bowler Handbag as a gift for a friend on Mother's Day. She mentioned that the gift was a wonderful surprise, she is very happy with the gift, quality, size and beautiful design of this handbag. She is the type of person that loves purchasing expensive pocketbooks/handbags, so I was concerned about the quality of this handbag. In our conversation she stated that she is very impressed with the MARISSA Handbag, it has a shoulder strap that can be used, or it can be held by the handles. She was also impressed that it looks like a "real leather" handbag, and many people cannot tell the difference. She states it is soft, and made of good quality materials. She has received many compliments on this handbag. She loves the amount of room inside the handbag which is great. I informed her that this handbag is available in various colors. and I purchased the blue, since it is one of her favorite colors. She also stated "I know you would not divulge the amount spent on this gift, I believe it cost you at least $200, and was expensive." I am impressed that she believes it cost more than the reasonable price it is listed for on the Amazon website from the company.I asked her when did she receive the package, and was also impressed by the speed of delivery, and the time it took for her to receive this gift. The company has displayed/described this handbag as advertised. They have done a tremendous job with advertising this handbag, packaging the product, the price is reasonable, delivery time was excellent, and the quality of this handbag looks more expensive than the reasonable price listed for the product. I would recommend this handbag to Amazon customers who are searching for a nice handbag (available in various colors) to give someone as a gift, or to purchase for themselves. She is very happy, appreciates and loves the fact that I have given her such a wonderful gift

It is still a fantastic manmade bag worthy of its full price and then some. I noticed almost if not fully similar bags with different high priced names for quite a bit more. Quite a bit equals more than double the price.Edited November 14, 2015:This is my ideal everyday bag for several reasons. It has space galore for anything I normally use and then space left over for other items. It is sturdy so that when I open the top I can find what I seek with little to no wasted time. It is easy to open and close and the added shoulder strap makes shopping in a store where you have to lean over or reach up you do not have to worry about dumping the contents. Its interior provides 5 little pockets to hold little pocket items and access them with ease.I would have preferred leather, but this synthetic material is just as stylish and looks exactly as you would expect the leather to look. Forget the material because at this price point it cannot be beat. Even if it only lasted for one season, it is still a good deal.The 'brass' will not hold up based on my experiences with brass-plated products, and especially on the pressure points on this bag. That is the only reason for dropping the rating from 5 to 4. Otherwise it is a fine bag and I use it everyday.

Holy Cow is this bag amazing. It's actually a little bit larger than what I had anticipated (since I myself am quite short/smallish), but it's still manageable and easy to carry :) It's pretty useful should you be using it as a working bag, since you can put so much stuff inside, as well as an everyday bag. I get so many compliments on it whenever I'm out and about running regular errands as well, and it makes storing my bulky wallet, reusable bag, water bottle, tissues etc. extremely easy, especially since it has a little pouch within the main section of the purse. It's really beautiful in my opinion and considerably durable (so far since having it for a couple of months), I absolutely LOVE the doctor style handles on the bag with the option of the shoulder strap, as I do love my cross-body bags, as well as carrying handles style, it's extremely convenient especially on the go, the only thing that I had an issue with in the beginning was that the bowler/doctor straps were a bit short of my liking, as you can't really hike the bag onto your shoulder, but looking at the bag proportions in general, I've grown to love it the way it is, as it's pros majorly outnumber the cons. I have taken this bag on road trips and grocery stores, and I must say that this is one of the best/(possibly the best) bags I've ever found and purchased, especially at the super affordable cost.

This is a beautiful bag and looks to be worth ten times the cost. Actually, I've seen $300 bags that aren't as pretty. I bought the orange and it's a lovely, rich pumpkin shade. Perfect for fall. It came well packaged in a sturdy box with an airbag inside the purse, the hardware wrapped in tissue paper and it was encased in a protective bag. I love it so much I just ordered the same bag in taupe.Edited for second bag ordered: Unfortunately, I should have stopped when I was ahead. I loved the orange bag so much I ordered one in taupe. As soon as I saw the box on my doorstep I hoped it was something other than my purse. Much flatter than the shipping box before. The beautiful purse was mashed and forced into the flat box. The first purse had a full airbag in it to protect the shape, the second a bag with very little air in it. I've tried to reshape it without success. There are dents and creases that won't come out and the zipper is warped. The properly packaged purse looks like a top shelf glass case item and I've gotten swooning comments on it. The improperly packaged/damaged one looks like a loner on the clearance shelf and will likely be returned.Still this is a beautiful style bag and well-made. I would be giddy to have it (undamaged!) in a classy gray with silver or pewter hardware.
