A must have!
Every family should have the game Trouble, especially if there’s kids around. Played it as a kid and I still enjoy playing it decades later with my grandkids.

The Pop-O-Matic hooked me as a kid — and it still makes Trouble fun
Trouble is one of those games that immediately takes me back to childhood. I was introduced to it at my grandma’s house on a very well-loved game board, and I especially remember how much fun and how unusual that Pop-O-Matic die roller seemed back in the 70s and 80s. Honestly, that part is still fun. This newer version feels like the same classic game with a bit of a facelift. The appearance and some of the details have changed over the years, but the basic game is still simple, familiar and easy for kids to pick up. What I like: • Very easy game for younger kids to understand • Around age 5 is probably a safe starting point for most kids, although some younger children may be ready sooner • Especially good for roughly ages 5–10, but older kids and adults can still enjoy playing along • Gives younger children an easy way to participate in family game time • Pop-O-Matic die roller is still the standout feature and adds a playful element kids really enjoy • Mostly simple luck-based gameplay, so younger players can compete without needing advanced strategy • Adults can genuinely have fun playing it with kids • Games average around 30 minutes for us • Two-player games tend to move faster while four players can take a little longer • Current board and pieces felt perfectly adequate for normal game play • Very good value at around $10 • Familiar classic that still works well generations later Things to be aware of: • This is a fairly simple game, so older kids looking for deeper strategy may eventually want something more challenging • I donated this particular copy, so I cannot speak to years of durability with this newer version • Game length can vary quite a bit depending on the number of players and how the rolls go Overall: I chose Trouble as one of the games we donated to a Christmas program because I think it fills a really nice spot for kids who are beginning to outgrow traditional toys but still want something genuinely fun to open and play with. It is not exactly a toy, but that Pop-O-Matic gives it just enough of that playful feel. Games like Trouble and Parcheesi always remind me of my grandma’s house, and I love that Trouble is still around for another generation. It is easy to learn, inexpensive, works well for family play, and that darn Pop-O-Matic is still fun to press. A good classic is a good classic.

Classic Family Fun That Never Gets Old
Hasbro Gaming Trouble is such a fun and entertaining board game for family game night! It's always a go to in my family as it's easy to learn, keeps everyone engaged, and the Popping dice roller makes every turn exciting. I love that it’s simple enough for young kids while still being fun for adults. It’s a great way to get everyone together, laugh, and enjoy some screen-free time. Definitely a classic worth having for game nights

A fun game to play with young and old! Classic Trouble!
This edition of Trouble is a very good one! If you know Trouble this is it! It has a decent pop-up dice mechanism, but there have been times where it got stuck. But it is easily remedied. This happened to me as a kid too so no surprises! Never broke. And actually its good for young hands to work on their dexterous muscles in their hands. It's somewhat portable. I put all the pieces in an old cough drop can because the box was no longer usable. The board is easy to read. It's a fun game and this was a nice affordable version. Game still looks brand new after almost a year and we play it about once a week on average.

A classic game that’s still so much fun!
Trouble is such a simple but fun game! It’s easy to learn, quick to set up, and works really well with kids because the rules aren’t overly complicated. The Pop-O-Matic bubble is obviously the best part and makes rolling the dice way more entertaining than it should be! I also love that it can be used for more than just family game night; as an SLP, it’s an easy game to incorporate into therapy for turn-taking, following directions, counting, social skills, and practicing target words between turns. A classic for a reason!
