Works better than expected but you will need more "scrails" than what manufacture claims.
Ok there first let me say are a lot of hidden fasteners out there. Choosing the right one is not as easy as it should be. I bought this one and used the Tiger Claw gun. I personally don't see how the screw versions can get the boards tight and keep them tight. I did most of a Trex deck by myself 14x32 took me 2 days. If i had to drive every screw with an impact I cant even imagine how long it would have taken me! Yes it is expensive but im a professional contractor time is money. It should be noted that these have the connector wing to the left, at seams you will need ones that go the right as well those are not gun style but they do work with the gun. You will need 2 boxes of "scrails" if you are bigger than 400 square feet. You don't need Stainless steel screws unless you are close to water or the coast.

Great clips
Complete system with these clips. scales and nail gun work great. I put down over 2000 square-foot in the last two years. Expensive but a great timesaver. Buy the nail Gun it’s worth it.

Great composite fasteners!
I've been using these TC-G fasteners for years and i love them. The gun is a must have and the fasteners work with all the composite boards that I've installed. I've been using them since 2011. Good price on Amazon also.

Good design just costly
I purchased this item to use with the installation gun and was pleased with both the design and build quality but the cost has prevented me from using them on every job. Once you get familiar with placing the clip in the gun installation goes quickly. Make sure to use the recommended nail/screw as off brands will more than likely jam in the gun. If the cost was more competitive I would use these on every job.

along with the tiger claw TC-SG fasteners they work great when using a nail gun for the purpose of using hidden fasteners.
