Fobus Fobus Standard Holster

Fits my Springfield XD45 service model perfectly. Love the Fobus holsters. I put a little low strength Loctite on the tension screw to keep it from backing out or loosening up. Holster has a positive click when inserting pistol. Once you tension the screw to your desired tightness, the gun won't accidentally fall out. Hasn't left any marks on the pistol. Covers the trigger nicely. The paddle is comfortable for all day wear, especially when standing. Less comfortable when sitting, but still tolerable for extended periods. Highly recommend Fobus. Worth every penny.

This grandma conceals carry a Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm 5-Inch Tactical machine. Fits well for my weapon. The holster is as described. Keeps snug. Locks in place like it should. Simple easy draw. My skin does not get hot or sweaty. I can't run away so cant say how it holds up to running. This holster is the biggest BANG for the buck I could find anywhere this planet. Ya! He tells me It Looks Sexy. Get It!

Fit like a glove

I have owned and used this holster for around 5 years with my Springfield XD40, I have used it in classes at Frontsight. It is a very good holster for basic open carry and shirt-covered conceal carry. The Construction is good and is adjustable to hold the gun properly. The angle is not adjustable. I found it very comfortable and easy to draw from and re-holster. I like it better that the Uncle Mikes Tactical holster.

THE single BEST holster i've ever owned for the money. Let me preface this review stating that i've owned a lot of holsters. I have BlackHawk holsters, I have Uncle Mikes holsters, I have Alien gear holsters, I have a crossbreed holster, and now, I have a fobus holster. I wish, wholeheartedly, that I could take all of my other OWB holsters back, and get a few more of these fobus paddle holsters. If you're a person who is tired of those stupid metal clip on holsters tearing up your belt, or attempting to wear one that attaches to your belt, only to find out that your belt is too flimsy, then this is the holster for you. Period. I've never worn a paddle holster in my life until this one, and, holy crow, I am a convert. The comfort level far surpasses my alien gear and crossbreed OWB holsters. In fact, I've actually forgotten I was wearing it and walked into work with it (whoops). My uptight employer aside, that level of comfort is hard to achieve when you're skin and bones like me, with hip bones that you'd swear were sharpened. The retention is adjustable with a friction screw on the corner by the trigger guard. you can get this thing so tight, that you'll pull it off of your pants before you get the gun out. (Side note, you cannot fire the weapon with the gun in the holster. you just can't do it. I've tried. it's extremely safe) I found the sweet spot in the middle, and slid my big black springfield XD right in there. Took her to the range, practiced a few draws with it until I felt comfortable, and I started carrying her. As of writing this review, I've carried this holster for nearly 25 days. I can't find anything bad to say about it. If I do, i'll update this review. Until then, Throw this puppy in your shopping cart, Hit checkout, and don't look back.

It securely holds my Sig Sauer P2022. There is resistance when lifting it out of the holster. When you put the pistol back into the holster you can tell sort of with a click or something, that its in. You can feel it too. I recommend this. Its not expensive so if it isn't your cup of tea you didn't spend much. Also I am umm wide near my belt, shall we say, which is why I didn't want to go with a belt holster. This is at my perfect height for the pistol draw.

I love FOBUS holsters. This holster provides a very solid feel whether it is worn with or without a belt due to the nice wide paddle that goes inside the waistband. It has a little grip to it that stops the holster from shifting or tilting. It has a gentle contour that makes it comfortable on your hip. It also has two plastic barbs that keep the holster seated when you draw your firearm. The detent provided a very good hold on your firearm. When you insert it into the holster it is easy to tell that it is secured. It does not jiggle, tilt, or shift in the holster. It is not difficult to draw from the holster. My xd .40 sits close to my side. I habe not found an outside the waist hipster that still holds such a tight profile. I recommend checking the nut that adjusts the detent to make sure it doesn't loosen. I lost it on my very first FOBUS holster. I haven't had this problem again tho. If you're concerned, use some loctite. Also, FOBUS has a very good warranty and stands by their product. I recommend this holster to all of my friends.

I got this one for my dad for christmas so I don't have a review for this particular model but I might add that the reason I bought this as a gift was because I have had one for my Taurus 24/7 for years and has served me well. For what looks like a cheap piece of plastic, it fits the gun and me as if it was custom made for both. I like just being able to pop it into my waistband with ease and know that when I draw the gun only the gun will come out. Your pant's don't have to be cinched tight. As long as you have a belt on you are good to go. Removing it from your waistband is just a matter of a simple twist and it's out.
