Grout Pen Dark Grey Tile Grout Paint Marker Restorer - Wide 15mm Tip (20ml)

Results were better than I expected, and applying it was easier than I expected. I bought this item four years ago, and applied it at that time, and now four years later I am returning to get the same item again to touch it up. I used it on my kitchen floor which gets heavy use, and it held up surprisingly well. I would not have even touched it up except for the fact that I am currently cleaning and sealing the tile, so I figured I might as well touch up the grout while I'm at it. Great product, highly recommend.

Simple to use, fast results and permanent. It enhances the tile work and makes the floor look cleaner. It is some very tough material and stands up to scrubbing floors well. I recommend using it to cover old grout to refresh color or to change it.

I love the color and was of use. The foam tip comes out easily so be careful with that but my grout looks great and it is a job well done (even with my limited skillset)!

I love these markers. I used a different color in my bathroom and they were easy to use and made such an immediate difference. However, this color (dark grey) was inaccurate to the product photos. It has quite a blue tint which is not what I was looking for. Wanted to share this warning in case you too were looking for more of a charcoal and less of a navy.

Bought this to color in my white grout on my subway tile. Halfway through my project, my pen exploded on me and ink dumped all over my kitchen counters, garbage can, etc. I contacted the seller and she immediately remedied the situation, which was so nice! She gave me a refund plus she is sending me a new pen, and I wasn’t expecting a refund I just inquired to her about a replacement. Very good customer service and so kind! In regards to the pen, the only downfall to it was mine being defective. We bought a size too large for my grout lines, but the ink is very good quality it seems. It instantly adhered to my grout and it was easy to wipe away the excess that got onto my backsplash. Where we missed some small spots, acetone easily got the job done. Overall I am very pleased with this product and can’t wait to get my new one to finish up my projects!

Buyer beware. I read all the good reviews and thought this would be a good solution to the white grout on my kitchen floor. I scrubbed the grout on my hands and knees to make sure it was very clean. Then I rinsed the whole floor three times. I was very careful because I wanted this to work. After the floor dried I began the application process. I guess I was sloppy and it would get on the floor so I wiped as I went. After a bit I stopped wiping and decided to wipe once it dried because I was wiping away more than I was putting down. So I did about three fourths of the floor and let it dry for about an hour. Once I began rinsing the floor with clear water the dye came up off the floor pretty easily. However, in spots the dye washed off as well. So now I have grey and white splotched grout. My husband said maybe it was some sort of sealer on the floor so he sanded down one area until it was bare grout. We dyed that area, let it dry for an hour and it rinsed right off again. I’ll include pictures of the splotchy mess. I’m not sure what I need to do to fix it but I’m thinking I may need to replace all of the grout at this point. BTW, I did a test spot and that area was fine so not even that helped me.

I love the way it refreshed the grout between my entry way tiles. I could not clean the grout to make it look clean no matter what product I used or how hard I scrubbed. This tile grout pen did an amazing job and it was not difficult. I tended to paint it on thick, covering some of the actual tile, then wiping the excess with a damp paper towel. I have mopped the floor several times since, and it still looks like brand new grout! It saved me a fortune.

I must admit, I was very sceptical about how good this would be, but it was either that, or rake out and re-grout. The existing grout (floor tiles) had badly discoloured from its grey, and looked horrible. I'd tried all the usual things, bicarb / white vinegar etc., to no real avail. This done the job perfectly. Like most things, you need to take your time and wipe any excess from the tile (using dry kitchen towel works great - not damp cloth, which will just smear it). Minor niggle is that the applicating nib (bit like a felt tip) would ideally be angled to make it easier to get into corners. I found a way round this by depressing a few times in a washed out yoghurt pot so you get a little liquid forming, and then use an artists paint brush. This allows you to get right into corners. Love this, great product!

Absolute quality product with amazing results. I had attempted a few different options from other makers. This comes out very dark and is exactly as advertised.

Als der fugenstift ankam, war ich zuerst etwas skeptisch. Die Spitze sah doch sehr dick aus. Zuerst dachte ich, ich müsste sie zuschneiden. Das habe ich aber dann doch nicht gemacht und erst mal die Bedienungsanleitung gelesen. Das stellte sich als die richtige Herangehensweise heraus. Sofern man nämlich glatte Fliesen hat, lässt sich der Überschuss nach dem Auftrag entfernen. Hier noch einmal die komplette Vorgehensweise: Stift auspacken, Spitze durch Pumpen vollsaugen lassen. Saubere, trockene Fuge entlangfahren, dabei nicht von den übermalten Rändern irritieren lassen. Sobald die Farbe angetrocknet ist, mit einem alten Geschirrtuch die Überschüsse durch rubbeln entfernen. Der Stift deckt enorm gut und reichte bei mir für ca. 5 m Wand mit 2 m hohem Fliesenspiegel. Er trocknet sehr schnell an und hält Wasser gut stand. Vorsichtig sein sollte man mit säurehaltigen Reinigungsmitteln.

Hat super funktioniert, ja man malt mit dem großen Stift auf die Fliesen, aber genauso einfach gehen die Fliesen mit Wasser und einem Schwamm wieder ab- bin super zufrieden!! Also alle Fugen nachziehen- einwirken- Eimer und Wasser und dann über Fliesen und Fugen schrubben- top Ergebnis!
