Great grout pen!
This quick drying tile paint marker was used by me to redo the grout lines in my bathroom. It was so easy and covered well. The color is perfect and does not show any dirt. It’s very permanent!

Better than therapy
This was the most incredibly soothing and least frustrating home improvement product I have ever tried. My kitchen gray slate tiles had green (ugh) grout when I bought the place - this made the grout look moldy. I bought the gray pen (slightly lighter than the tiles). It was easy to put on, didn't make a mess and the floor looks a billion times better - and it was really kind of fun. Tips. Really clean the grout first. I scrubbed with a grout brush, vacuumed steamed and then vacuumed again. Probably overkill, but the cleaner it is the better it works. I did a 5X10 ft area with the smaller pen and there was enough left to do a bit more. Shake the pen, then press down on cardboard till the tip is covered in grout. For consistent application, press down again to re-cover the pen at every tile intersection. Drag the pen tip slowly, more like a paint brush , rather than digging into the tiles. I didn't have to mask anything, but have a paper towel ready - cleaning up the wet stuff is easy, once it dries - well, it is grout. Since my pen color was lighter than the original grout color, I let it dry for one day and then vacuumed and did one more coat - that made it look virtually like a professional job. Did I mention that this was totally soothing? Can't speak to longevity yet, but this is so simple and painless and cheap that if it had to bee redone, no problem. If only all my home repairs were like this

Not for use in wet areas
NOT FOR USE IN SHOWERS This is a great product for floor or wall repair, but given it's water-soluble, it should not be used in wet areas. I used it on my bathroom floor and it worked great. It’s easy to apply. The one thing to be aware of it that you should have a dense sponge (like a “magic eraser”) and once you go over the line, pass over it again with the sponge to even it out. Looks great. I tried it in my shower, however, and it's terrible. It lasts a couple of days, then it starts to flake off. My grout has an interesting color - when it's dry it's almost white (and a perfect match to this gray), but when it gets wet, it turns dark gray (almost black), so, where the product flakes off, you see black portions of the grout coming through. It looks like mold! The treatment seems to last no more than a couple of days. I've tried re-treating it and then sealing it with a clear grout sealer, all to no avail. The product is just not strong enough for shower floor. As I said, the rest of the bathroom seems just fine, it's just the shower floor that seems to suffer. Upside is that it removes pretty easily - I took a nail brush and some alcohol and got most of it up. Now looking for a different solution. Pros: - easy to apply Cons: - Flakes off if used in a shower Recommendation: OK to use in other parts of the bathroom or kitchen, but not where standing water will collect.

Works Well But Color Issue
Very easy to use but the color is off. It's a very blue/gray, not gray.

Love the color and ease of use
The person tiling used a cream color grout with white tile that has shades of gray in it and it did not pair well at all. I am so glad I found this product. If you want a lighter gray there is one available but just “gray” is pretty dark. It didn’t take very long to apply at all. I still have some left after doing the whole bathroom floor and will keep it as there may need to be some touch ups. I hope it holds up to occasional mopping. Very affordable option to make a big difference.

Hide your ugly grout!
I have white square ceramic tile in my kitchen as a backsplash. It was installed many years before I bought the house. The white grout had yellowed over the years and I couldn’t get it clean. I really don’t want to replace it right now, so this was an easy and cheap fix to make it look better. I simply cleaned the area as good as possible and let it dry. Follow the instructions before using. I then used the marker and followed the lines of the grout, going in both directions as to ensure good coverage. I worked in big sections, allowing it some dry time before using a dry cloth to wipe away any excess paint. You don’t want to wipe it with a damp cloth until it completely dries, after 24 hours at least. Easy to use. Easy to wipe off the tile and keep it just on the grout. My tile looks so much better! I used dark gray to add some contrast and I love it!

Does its job. For how long, not sure
Not sure about longevity but I opted to try this on my traffic master peel and stick floor tile. I installed it after purchasing at Home Depot and my only mistake was using white grout. Even w sealing precautions, the white grout just looked dirty. This pen alleviates that for which I am grateful but it’s a trade off for the imperfect lines. I applied the pen, waited overnight and mopped to remove the excess hoping it would come off the tile and remain only in the grout lines. It seemed to come off the peel and stick tile which was a relief but still the lines look like someone took a marker over them and some of the color came up with it. I am hoping that applying a second coat will keep it dark for at-least a while but only time will tell. Overall I think it does its job. It looks better than the yellow white grout, just obviously not a high end grout job and again not sure how long it will last.

Begeistert

no good true light grey colour
the dark grey is extremely dark, the light grey is basically white. there is nothing in between for a true light grey. had to return multiple

Funciona perfectamente, tono azulon
Fácil de aplicar en la cocina, aunque el color tiene un tono gris azulón. No era exactamente el color que esperaba pero no queda mal.
