lol at the people out there who use these to do the whole bathroom. That’s a waste of time and money. You don’t stain an entire wood chair with a scratch touch up pen do you? For those who haven’t done tile sealing and restoration work before, go to a tile store and ask them about the products available for this or otherwise do your research. If you have mold on the grout you’ll want to kill that first then apply a sealer. There are transparent penetrative sealers, and surface coating sealers that can be either transparent or opaque colored like these markers. There are roller wheel application bottles that are best used on horizontal surfaces like floors, and brush bottles that are best for vertical surfaces like tile walls. There are also spray-on-and-wipe products that are best for those really small tiles where the amount of grout lines is overwhelming. These markers are good for what they are which is situations where you need to do some sort of touch up for some reason. I actually got one to cover a small area where the edges of the tile are visible and an opaque white sealer is needed to get rid of the grayish tile edge. I wasn’t really expecting them to work that well but after 2 months the sealer hasn’t flaked off which is better than I expected. I do expect that eventually I’ll have some flaking or wear and will need to touch those spots up again, but so far it’s looking much more durable than I expected. I did need to use about three coats of the sealer for this unusual application to get it opaque enough to completely cover up the dingy gray tile edge. So anyway these are good for touch ups or small areas but for entire bathrooms and such just go get yourself a quart or however much you need of some appropriate products and apply them as directed with roller or brush bottles.

Pen works fine. But the results are not high quality. In general, I would not use this product to paint over grout. Doesn’t look great.

Excellent invention for easy way to refresh bathroom and kitchen grout. Everything looks so nice and clean after several applications. Remember to clean the area with old grout as much as possible, let dry, and then apply.

We purchased a home two years ago. Upon moving in we scrubbed and while it lightened it did not appear as we would have liked it. I came across the grout paint and a week later decided to try it. I cleaned the floors before applying. I started with just using the grout pens and went through three before deciding to go ahead and purchase the can. It was simple to apply and I had no trouble doing it. I was able to complete a master bath and a Jack and Jill bathroom in 3 evenings. I did use the paint pens and dip them into the paint can which I found easier than using an arts and crafts paintbrush. I did allow it to dry and "cure" for 48 hours before cleaning the floors again. Upon cleaning the floors afterwards the paint remained on and everything seemed great. I have already bought more in order to complete the kitchen.

to do a kitchen would take more than 20 pens. it is good for touch ups but large areas not good.

L'ho trovata a facile da applicare anche per chi ha poca manualità , cambia subito l' aspetto del pavimento. Immagino, anzi so per esperienza (ma ci sta) che con il tempo e dopo una serie di lavaggi del pavimento, l effetto sbiadisca e bisogna riapplicare un'altra dose. Ma credo sia logico. Eventuali sbafi di bianco , fuori dalla fuga, sono andati via con uno straccetto o spugna bagnati passato sulla piastrella .Il bianco è rimasto invece sulla fuga. Soddisfatta

I will start by saying super speedy delivery the pen it self is big and I cannot fault the product in any way it is bloody fantastic dry super quick and just wipe the excess off with a damp cloth so easy to use my I have done my full kitchen in it and still have some left in fact I am going to order another so I have one in my kitchen now looks like it has been grouted all over again I can't rate this prout any high if you are looking to get a grout pen forget the big name because this one is a must bloody fantastic
