Fever-TreePremium Ginger Beer, No Artificial Sweeteners, Flavorings or Preservatives, Original, 16.9 Fl Oz, Pack of 8

First, like another reviewer, I am on medication that causes nausea. Aside from Reeds Extra Ginger this is the ONLY thing to settle my stomach. Though more expensive, Fever Tree has the advantage of 1. I need to drink much less to settle my stomach, 2. The TASTE is awesome.There is no syrupiness or and sort of artificial aftertaste. There is a great bite of ginger in every sip. The bottles seal well and retain the fizziness up to 3 days after you first open them if you keep them refrigerated.However, I gave it 5 stars for taste alone. Shipping would get a 3 star rating. I have had 2 shipments arrive with broken bottles, though Amazon has been great about replacing the orders that were broken. I'm pretty sure that this is the fault of UPS though - with the last one we heard the thump of the box hitting the front entryway.****Update****My latest shipment arrived about a week ago. I just opened one today. This is disgusting! These are absolutely nothing like all of the previous ginger beers that I have enjoyed. They are thin and bitter tasting with a strange harsh aftertaste that has nothing to do with ginger. It tastes chemical. I ordered three cases and tasted a bottle out of each in hopes that it was a fluke - no such luck. All of them expire 12/14 and they are all disgusting. I am very disappointed because I had read other reviews saying that they had changed but I figured it would be a minor thing. This is an entirely different item. My husband says they taste like they were made with tonic water and ginger flavoring. The ingredients list is the same, so who knows. Amazon has kindly refunded me and my husband has disposed of the ginger beer, keeping a bottle from each case for when we contact the company.I am very disappointed and will buy the smaller bottles from Kroger until they taste like these and then try to find another ginger beer I guess. It's too bad, I have really been a fan for quite some time, and at 2-3 cases a month was a loyal customer.Updated 7/19/14***********My husband bought some of these on the off chance that they would be better. They were! Fevertree ginger beer now tastes just like it should again. Lots of ginger, a strong bite, and soooo good. Whatever they have done to fix this, keep it up.

i LIKE IT. I don'use it as a mixer. It is non-alcoholic. I drink as it is. It has a nice bite.

This is BY FAR the best ginger beer I have ever tasted. The vast majority of the ginger beers on the market are very sweet, with only a subtle ginger flavor, whereas Fever-Tree has the perfect combination of sweetness and ginger punch—not too spicy, but enough to wake you up a little bit. It's incredibly tasty and refreshing on its own, but also makes for a wonderful mixer in cocktails. Try it in a London Mule: 2-3oz juniper-y gin (like Beefeater 24), 1oz lime juice, half a 16.9oz bottle of ginger beer (or one of the 6.8oz bottles). It's one of my favorite cocktails, so I've tried it with many other brands of ginger beer, and it never tastes quite the same as it does with Fever-Tree.The ONLY complaint I have about it is that it's pretty expensive compared to some other options, but it's well worth it!

I was introduced to this when it came packaged with Jägermeister. The flavor is awesome. Now I drink it straight up. It's so intense, you can't have large quantities. I feel it like it does a great job of clearing up my throat, and it probably calms my stomach as well. I used to swig small amounts of tequila to clear my throat, but this stuff does the trick without the alcohol.

If you like sugar then this is for you. Never again for me. I'll go the zero one.

This is by far the most tasty ginger drink I've ever tasted. It's smooth after-taste it greatly appreciated as is the burning kick of ginger that you don't get in any other* ginger drinks on the market. *Yes the green Jamaican bottle drink has a crazy kick and burn to it, but I'm not fully convinced that isn't just battery acid.(Disclaimer, the green bottle place doesn't use battery acid... I don't think.)The Fever Tree company has a real winner here. I was given a bottle of this during Christmas by my mother in law who said it was too strong. I tried it and immediately fell in love with it. I ordered 16 bottles of it last week and after drinking two of them... man am I happy to have these.They shipped in a nice big box with WAY more padding around them then required. Which is a really nice touch. They appear to have shipped like wine bottles do so I'm treating these like special bottles of yummy carbonated ginger mana juice. Problem is can't find it at Amazon. Again the size is odd- 16.9 Oz. Bottle. Why can't they produce a size which can easily be consumed...
