Only blaster that's fun to shoot and is under 10 dollars!
This is a great blaster. This blaster not only pack's a solid hit, but also can carry a backup dart.I personally love this blaster because you can hear the dart scream through the air, unlike the Magnus or Centurion where you can only here the dart for 1 second due to the blaster noise. It's extremely easy to cock and make's a great sidearm, and it's also just fun to hear the mega dart's scream.Pros:-Extremely affordable-It's easy for kid's to use and is also a fun blaster to mod/paint-You can very easily hear the dart's scream through the air-Makes a great sidearmCons:-Mega darts are very light and big, meaning not only will wind screw up a shot, but the dart's can be squished or damaged easily-In a nerf war, Mega darts aren't as common, so reloading may be a problem-Slightly to big to put in a pocket--

Great gun for the younger kids
My boys and my nephew loves Nerf guns so everyone always get at least one gun for holidays, birthdays, etc. I bought this one for my 4-year old nephew so it would be easy for him to load and cock and that it was. The extra bullet storage on top of the gun is nice too. The mega darts didn’t quite whistle like they normally do in my son’s Magnus because it obviously doesn’t have the power the bigger guns have. So, I would say this is more suited for the younger kids because it is so easy to cock and load and also that it’s not going to sting when you get a bullet in the face - like I did.Side note: This also did not come in your normal Nerf packaging. It came in plain brown box and I had to open it prior to wrapping it to make sure what it was.

Grey Trigger - Nerfers Know What I Mean
I actually paid a little extra for this Nerf Bigshock because of the fact that the image showed the orange trigger version. Unfortunately, what showed up is the gray trigger version. For those who may not be in the know, the gray trigger in Nerf blasters generally signifies it was made for the Australian market, where they have limits on higher spring tensions than you can find in North America, so they're usually dumbed down a bit in regards to their power. This is important, especially in Mega blasters because the darts are very heavy, so they need a lot of power to propel well. This was further confirmed by the packaging, which actually says on the back that it is "distributed in Australia by Hasbro Australia." So if you're looking for the more powerful version of this, you might want to try somewhere else. I personally have plans to bust it open, and hopefully change out the spring anyway, so it might not be an issue, but I'm also hoping that the internals weren't reduced as well since they wouldn't need as high of a spring tension. I guess we'll find out! Still, a fun Mega style Jolt essentially in general, but just be aware, you might not get what's actually shown on the picture if that was your goal (the orange trigger version).

The Best Nerf Mega Gun
This gun is very accurate and powerful. This gun is commonplace in my office, and once you hear one of these signature red darts whistle through the air, it is soon accompanied by 5+ more whistles, and you know war has been declared. The range on these darts is pretty far, and I can easily shoot someone multiple rows over on our production floor. I also have the Mega Thunder Bow, which is pretty cool. The bow is more powerful, but these Blasters are more accurate. These darts shoot with enough power that someone knows they have been shot, but not hard enough to actually hurt or leave a mark. I don't think I'd like to take one in the eye, but I don't think there'd be any actual damage. A shot to the eye from the ThunderBow may be a different story though

Awesome nerf shooter
Can I give this 6 stars? My nearly 7 year old was playing with one at a neighbors and I decided he could have one for Christmas - no neg feedback, I know it says 8 and up. Be a parent and decide if your child is mature enough to use one!Anyway, he absolutely loves this! It makes a whistle sound as he fires it.We also got the nerf target and he is able to hit it and win the game.Aim is good, not perfect. Sometimes misfires. Overall, he has so much fun with it. Likely will get a few more for when he has buddies over to play.
