I am pretty picky with pillows. Too soft and you don't feel supported. Just a tiny bit too hard and I wake up with painful ears and face pain. A few years ago I bought a ridiculously embarrassingly expensive memory foam pillow from brookstone and the foam was too hard to sleep on so I ended up buying a much cheaper one that was supposed to be softer off of Amazon and that wasn't much better. I ended up cutting the soft one into shreds and putting it in the brookstone pillowcase and that worked for many years. I needed a smaller pillow though and I still wasn't 100% happy with the lack of support from my own frankenpillow. I was thrilled to see that someone took my memory foam strip idea a step further and created shredded memory foam!!!!! This is INCREDIBLE!!!I needed a smaller pillow so I ended up cutting mine open, taking the foam chips out, cutting and sewing the casing into a smaller side sleeper model with a notch for my neck with plenty of left over chips to spare.I'm very pleased with the quality and softness of the shredded memory foam. It's a pleasant color and feel. No debris of other unthinkable extras I feared from an Amazon purchase.I've seen ones on Amazon that zip open so you can fill your pillow to the exact fullness you want. This does not do that. It really doesn't need to though. They did an incredible job at putting just enough fill into the standard pillow size.I love these things! Definitely glad my pillow search is finally over. Appreciated the packaging too. This is A GREAT buy, especially for TWO pillows. These are definitely the best pillow option out there. One of those stupid "my pillows" is $100+ and so uncomfortable with its hard foam chips. They are rock hard bits of...something uncomfortable, definitely not memory foam, that press into your face at weird angles. This is definitely nothing like those overpriced disasters. Waited a few days to write this review after receiving and using these pillows and all I can say is buy them!!!! For the price they are 1,000% worth it! I’m a back sleeper and normally use two pillows. I no longer have to use two pillows with this pillow! Height is perfect! My Hisband is a side sleep and it is also perfect for him as well he loves it! Our sleep quality has tremendously improved with these pillows. They are firm yet mold and sink just enough to make you unbelievably comfy!!! No pain! They are so light weight. You do have to shake and mold the pillows then let them sit and expand upon receiving but it took just minutes for both! Get them!!!!

Let me point out that what one may like or dislike in a pillow varies greatly between individuals i.e. there is no accounting for taste. I found these pillows to be too thick, too firm, and over stuffed. Fortunately, there is a fix for that, just remove 2/3 of the filling and put it in a different case. Unfortunately these pillows do not have a zipper that allows you to do that without destroying the case. It hurt my feelings to cut the case open because it is nicely made, but I had no choice. The contents are giblets of memory foam about as big as the end of your finger and the transfer of 2/3 of it to a zippered case I bought on Amazon was easy. Perfect! I now like it a lot.

Comfortable, just too bulky for me personally. I have neck issues, so I was hoping for something that would mold to my head, which is why I wanted to give this a try- it's just too bulky. It would be nice if I were able to remove some of the interior to make it more customizable, but my sewing skills aren't up to par for that adventure lol. I ended up getting a buckwheat pillow, and that was a way better fit for me.
