Zacusca was already expired

I'm so disappointed about this. I'm Romanian, working around the world, and I was so happy to find out zacusca, my favorite stuff, Romanian original food, here in Caribbean, Galveston actually. I got an expired food. I have to trash it to the garbage bin. 🗑 it's so shame

Not enough spicy

Zacusca is a great snack or appetizer. This brand has quite dull flavor. The original country side zacusca is made with larger chunks. Raurani brand is more like a paste. A bit of spiciness is desired. I may buy it again if I don't find another brand that I like.
