We bought this as a gift for my niece who turned 8. My daughter is 10 and she has it as well. Fun for young girls. They can ask their friends, parents, siblings...

Cute & Fun
My 13 year old 8th grader is an avid reader. Here is her review: --- "Would you prefer to be: the life of the party, or a wallflower, or a party crasher? Would you like to see: all the different pets you'll ever have, or all the homes you'll ever live in, or all the homes you'll ever drive? Would you rather: jump in feet-first, do a cannonball, or do a flip? -- Answer these fun questions and many more in this awesome quiz book! It is full of fun "Would You Rather?" type questions to get you thinking. It would be a fun book to do with friends to get to know them better! There is really cute art on every page, too. I really enjoyed the book, and had fun going through it. Personally, I usually prefer quizzes with results that tell you something about yourself from your answers, but this book is just all questions. It might be really fun for an ice-breaker, or at a sleepover, or as writing-prompts for a journal!

The 8-Year-Old Loved It!
I got this to entertain my niece during a recent visit. I was worried when she was perusing it and asked me within a few minutes what "The Twist" is. As in the dance that most 8-year-olds aren't overly familiar with. I was concerned it may have too many old fashioned terms and concepts but that was more of an aberration than the standard. After that brief question and explanation, she was off to a flying start and I think nearly completed the book over the weekend. It went to church with her and kept her attention longer than I expected--she is an avid reader--but because there were so many other distractions available at my house. I looked over her shoulder and was charmed to see some of her answers on other pages. I learned a few quirky things about her personal tastes. I advised her to save it on her shelf and then review it in 10 years to see how her tastes may have changed. A fun way for a girl to learn herself and create a time capsule of sorts of her tastes and personality at a time in her life.

Good option for filling short time periods. Nothing to deep.
I like these short quizzes to fill the time while waiting for all students to arrive or to fill the gap between parent pick up and the end of our day. Good for students to start thinking about “are you an introvert, extrovert, or somewhere in between” by choosing from 3 options to 20 scenarios; or “are you a leader” 15 scenarios, etc.
