The Fuchsia Orchid Darbuka (World Percussion) - Arabic Darbuka Drum/Doumbek Drum with White Malik Head

This darbuka really is perfect ! It produces deep resonant sounds and other notes. Visually, the drum is very beautiful and is satisfyingly heavy. Added to this, it is superbly constructed and designed . It is rare that I give reviews but I’m that pleased with this item that I thought it only fair to write these comments. I am sufficiently impressed to have purchased another one in green for my partner and am teaching her to play.

Great sound, versatile drum… like a hand-snare?! Not a lightweight drum in any respect, solid and capably loud. These drums seem to sell themselves on the high point of their decoration and not much talk of the function but I rate the sound of this too…

I am very much a beginner and this is my first Darbuka. It arrived very well packaged and is very well made and beautiful to look at. Not too heavy and I find it easy to play. Has a good tone. Delighted with it.

Sound and material quality Is super I love it although I didn’t get the color I ordered!

I bought a darbuka from Amazon on February 6th. But I can't tune. Tones bother me. Some screws also have a problem. I can't balance it. By the way, I used it for 2 months without tuning. There is a problem with the screw I showed in the pictures. I can't find the balance because of that screw. It is very difficult to turn. The screw touches the metal while turning

This darboka came exactly as shown in the picture, definetly brand new (contrary to purchase on ebay which the seller advertised new, but was certainly used). Beautiful sound, beautiful craftsmanship and colors. The item comes with a velvet head cover and and soft suede protective case for the whole drum! Very pleased.

Out of the five I own, this has become my favorite darbuka. I play it every single day. Love it.

I really like the quality of this instrument. The price stretched my allocated budget but I am glad I invested in this one. The quality of the ruby pattern is really good. The surface of the body is really smooth and the weight helps keep the balance while playing. The D, T and k sounds come out perfectly. Highly recommended darbuka!

Arrivée dans un emballage costaud, j'avoue avoir eu un peu peur pour le transport mais elle est super bien protégée.Mais alors quelle beauté et quel son!! Une vraie derbouka avec ses nacres multicolores, et un son extraordinaire.En plus achetée avec une super remise de 50% que demander de plus! Je recommande!

The Sapphire Orchid Darbuka, ist wirklich wunderschön und klingt mit dem bespannten Fell von Malik super, keine Ahnung ob ein Remo Fell noch mehr herausholt. Durch die Matrizen aus Perlmut und anderen Steinen hat sie einen schönen Keramikklang. Die beigegebene Tasche ist gut gepolstert und riecht nicht nach Plastik sondern nach Kräutern, sehr angenehm. Der Lack innen riecht noch etwas, jedoch nicht stark. Da ich keinen Vergleich zu den anderen Produkten aus Ägypten habe, sondern nur eine Meinl gespielt habe, kann ich nun sagen die Anschaffung hat sich voll gelohnt.
