Georgia Giant Wedge Romeo Work Shoe

I love these boots. These are my 3rd pair. Not because of bad quality but because they are just that great. My first pair is beat up pretty good and use those for house chores and yard work. Second pair got sent to the trash after my 1 year old lab got hold of them…rip boots. This pair shipped faster than expected and fit perfect. Breaking them in is easy and painless. The cushion and arch support is great and you can be on your feet all day. They look slick. Can dress them up or down. Wear them to the office or a job site.

So as a big-footed man wearing a Size 17, I have always been struggling to find a boot or a shoe that fit true to size. Skeptical at first about purchasing and the price point for a sturdy shoe, I took a leap and bought this quasi-boot shoe... okay, fine... work shoe.I was amazed... and humbly satisfied.It fits as if it were a sneaker, but has the sturdiness of a boot (DUH IT'S A WORK SHOE). And most boots (IT'S MODELED AFTER ONE OF THEIR BOOTS, GET OFF ME) you may have to get a size smaller due to it being a bigger type of footwear, but not this one. It truly fits to size. No need to upscale or downscale.My foot is an odd one: I can fit either 15EE, 16W, or a 17M. I opt for more toe room, so I aim for a 17M mostly.Toe room: Roomy. My foot is a little odd, so I love toe room to utilize the toe muscles more effectively.Width: Definitely as expected. I'm flat-footed (ish), so my arch bulges past the arch cut, giving this ugly look in this fantastic shoe, but the arch support isn't *not* there; it's more that this shoe just supports your foot, and will mold to your foot.Arch Support: It's there. If you have room, then get some inserts if you need them. It's a snug-yet-roomy shoe. Kind of an odd way to say it, but it is. Very comfortable and conforming to my type of foot.Overall Fit: For me it gets 5 stars. I wanted to think about how other shoes usually run small or large... Not this... A 17M was right on the money, and I am a very satisfied customer.DRAWBACKS:Lack of variety when size goes up. Only this color is available in my size. I would like to have an all black version, and other varieties. I am definitely going to have more for dressing up, casual, an old pair to get dirty... It is super versatile.Another drawback is the insole. It feels like it is stitched... Should I just sit one on top, or should I pull out the standard insole? Anyone who has more experience, please don't hesitate to share.

If you need an orthotic order your a half size bigger to save you a headache, no removal insole , tite fit even half size larger with your inserts. But wait,it gets better. After a night on town they will break in some and you will be happy with them at the end of the night. Continue to wear to break in only gets better. Fair price, nice quality.

Comfortable, quality, needs to be broken in as initially they are a bit tight to get on. Used Hunberds shoe grease prior to breaking in and to add additional waterproofing.

I love Georgia Boots. I still own a pair of lace ups that I bought twenty years ago. I know I'll love these slip on one's as well....that being said, I also purchased a set of great quality shoe horns.....it took an act of congress and me hopping across the floor with a cloud of blue smoke rising from my cuss words (which traumatized my pets and grandson) to get these said 'slip on' shoes on. I and the shoe horn won the battle and I may be buried in these shoes BUT once on...they are super comfortable and well made. Just know that until they get broke in, they are far from slip on.... hence four stars only due to the five minute battle to slip them on!!! I may have exaggerated a bit and I promptly destroyed the video that grandson took while laughing his head off but no one wants to see a 65 year old grandma trying on these shoes for the first time! Long story short, well worth the money and I look forward to years of wear with these shoes.

Got these for my husband his old ones were over 5 years old. They fit great and feel great very comfortable . Would definitely recommend.

Yes tight at first, ordered half size larger Ihave wide feet. I can now slip into shoe without a struggle after ditching thick wool boot socks for thin dress socks. Exactly whatI was after, something I can slip in and out ofwith ease as needed to go outside.

Fit and feel are excellent, my second pair so far with many more to come.

Excellent footwear. Resoling a worn pair would set you back twice what I paid.

Ordered a size larger for my insoles to fit, they are great, will just get better as the get broke in. Very happy with this purchase.
