When a mailbox is your Christmas present that you picked out months before with your husband and you are left sobbing after a car hits it, you know it is something special. This thing looks beautiful, garnered several compliments, and just plain made you happy when you looked at it. It was a victim of hit and run and judging by the carnage left, the mailbox won. Super sturdy, paint is still intact over the majority of the box, the post is still standing with minimal damage, and the flag still works flawlessly even though that is where it was hit. The price point makes it hard to replace after less than 6 months of ownership but I would recommend to anyone that isn't afraid of the cost.

Absolutely LOVE this mailbox. Get great comments on it too! Today a friend of mine came over, first thing he said after hello was "I love your retro mailbox!" You don't get that from the basic steel box. Construction is very good too. I got the matching pole (the 45 degree one) and the numbers for it from Modbox, too. Super sharp combination. Exactly like the pictures. If you are like me... totally in love with mid-century modern aesthetic... this is the only mailbox for you. J.Ja

It is a beautiful mailbox, but the packaging it is sent in is a very thin flimsy cardboard and mine came with a big gash in the box and a scrape on it. A little disappointing.

Our house exterior had a sad, sad, sad mailbox. With all the updates we did to our home exterior, we really needed a mailbox that would give it that finishing touch, and this mailbox did it!

All built easy to install and easily the coolest mailbox on the block!

We love our mailbox! It’s been in my wife’s wishlist forever so I finally splurged and bought it as a surprise (along with the angled post that it mounts on). The price is steep, but it’s very well made and looks incredible. The door is held shut with a magnet so no more snap shut lids that flip open over time. The flag is metal, not plastic. The entire piece is made from pretty heavy gauge metal so I’m hoping it will hold up over time. Installation was pretty simple. Dig a hole, pour in the concrete, then screw on the box after the concrete sets. You can certainly get by with a cheap plastic mailbox, but if you have the means i highly recommend it :-).

The colors match the picture online. The door and flag glide smoothly. The shipping packaging was protective and minimized waste. The business owner Greg is quick to complete orders and respond to emails. I wish him and his business the best. I will post a picture when we finish setting it up.
