Catit Style White Tiger Voyager, White - Medium

I bought 2 of these as I work with a cat rescue and frequently transport cats. in the hot summer months, I like to have carriers with lots of air holes to help circulate air while in transport. One of the carriers arrived just fine, and in perfect condition. The other arrived with the little knob which you pull up on to open the door broken off and loose in the box. I tried to reattach it, but it screws on and it had been stripped. I tried to super glue it, but it broke off again the first time I opened the carrier, as you do have to apply a lot of force to pull the knob up and open the door. I guess I will try to rig it up somehow, but that really shouldn't be something I am having to worry about with a brand new carrier....It has 2 tiny clips in the front, 1 large one on each side, and a large on in the back to keep the carrier together. It does have a place for bolts/nuts along the sides of the carrier to make it much more secure, but these are not included when you buy it... you will have to go to the hardware store and try to find the right width and length bolt to fit. I was using one of these carriers last week to transport a cat and the back clip as well as 1 side clip came off and fell into the seat of my car.... thankfully the cat did not attempt to escape when I picked up the carrier and it nearly fell apart in my hands...I do love the the style of the carrier, but it needs some work as far as durability, security, and construction are concerned.

I have this in both sizes. This bigger one is for my gigantic monster who is like picking up a heavy sandbag. It doesn't seem as sturdy as the smaller one. Seems to be the same thickness of plastic material, but the distance between supportive corners is obviously bigger, which will make it seem less "strong". I do suggest using zip ties to securely carry this without worry about it coming apart. I did that with the older carriers too because the screws would magically loosen, for some reason, without warning. There are holes for using zip ties on both size carriers.

As other reviewers have complained, there was no hardware included for permanent assembly of the carrier. However, a quick reading of the instructions that come packaged with the carrier gains you the information that these parts are optional and not included with the item, the same way that the padlock they show in the instructions is also optional and customer supplied. And yes, the plastic is flimsy, thinner than I would be comfortable sending a pet by air in, but this is just a "to the vet" carrier for us, and a place to safely confine our new 4th cat should the need arise. We have a carrier for each cat so, in the event of an emergency, or other need to confine them for a short time, we can do so safely and quickly.

Plastic is fairly thin, but the bonus of this is it's a light carrier and makes it easier to carry the kidz to the vet. Wish it came with screws to place in the predrilled holes for making the carrier more secure, but as others have mentioned, I've put plastic fasteners in those holes. Bought heavier and more sturdy carriers (Amazon's own model) and am using them more despite their weight, as those are top opening and held together by bolts.

I think it's a good carrier and it seems sturdy enough for my cat. I noticed that other people complaining that it is missing hardware. Its not. If you read the instructions on the label it says that the bolts or zip ties are not included. I am giving it a 4stars review just because I think it's good as is but would have given 5 if the bolts would have been included. I would still buy another for my second cat in the future.

It come in 3 pieces. a top, a bottom, and a cage door. I literally put it together in less than a minute. I have no idea why people are having trouble.yes, it's thin, lightweight, and big. The snap shut clips around the carrier are sufficient, but I did buy screws and bolts for the open screw holes. cost me $.97 at wally world.i already bought another one (black) for my other cat.

I bought this carrier to take my cat to the vet. I think it is fairly good. I specially like that there is a top opening that allows you to insert your hand and touch your pet (good to get your cat to quiet down if particularly nervous about being in the carrier). The door is very secure which I like. I just wish there was a top door to give you a choice between front or top when putting your pet inside.

The vet loves my carrier! Oh boy does Mr. Jingles get noticed when he's rolling in this bad boy. Not only is it adorable and afforadable it is super functional. Water and food dish comes with and hooks on to the cage in the front & there is a door on top to peek in and pet your little guy while waiting to see the vet. I love this carrier! My kitty is onlyi 8months at this point so idk how it would hold up for heavy cats but I just took some zip ties and zipped the little openings where it snaps together. Easy to carry, comfy for my kitty, easy open and close....what else could you ask for.

I bought this for two farm kittens I have recently adopted. I was pleased to find it very straightforward to put together, the fold down clips snap shut quite firmly enough for me; although if you are transporting your pets on a serious journey, extra screws are required to completely lock it shut. The door is simple to click closed too, with a strong post that slots into place easily.Funnily enough the little kits have adopted it as their safe sleeping place of choice, despite being offered several other soft and comfy set ups. They enjoy looking out through all the grills and spaces.I really like it being white, somehow it looks more friendly and less utilitarian, and the tiger decorations are fun. I can carry it happily, it's great to be able to reach in and comfort the animals as you wait for attention in the vet, say. The little water and food trays are a thoughtful touch too.Altogether this is a jolly good buy, I expect it to last for years, all it needs is a quick wipe down, no sharp edges or dirt traps, all is smooth and clean. I am delighted to have chosen it.
