Excellent tool
This appears to be a slightly lower cost copy of 'big name' versions. It certainly encouraged me when I first handled it as it is very solidly built, and handles very well.In use it has been exemplary, cleanly and easily stripping cables of almost all diameters without need for adjustment. The only cables it has struggled with were of very small diameter - pre-fitted to very low wattage LED light fittings - which have only a few copper strands inside. It strips single cables and the outer cover from multi-core cables with equal ease. The only job it does struggle with is if you want to remove just one or two millimetres of extra sleeve, it does need approximately 4mm minimum to get it's 'teeth' into. With less it just tends to slide off. These are tiny, rarely encountered issues and I feel pretty confident that any equivalent tool, no matter how expensive, would struggle to cope with these issues. All in all I think this is a brilliant piece of kit, and because it works so smoothly and easily, I look forward to having to use it. How sad is that....?

Perfect!
Fantastic tool! Why did I not buy one of these years ago? Strips wire perfectly every time.

Great tool.
I've always wanted a tool that makes electrical wire striping simple and easy. This striping tool is very well designed and has proved very easy to use. My only surprise was the weight - much heavier than I anticipated but that is because most of the tool is metal with only minor inclusion of plastic parts.

Great value tool
The media could not be loaded. I have to strip alot of wires as I assemble a lot of 3d printers, before this I used a combination of flush cutters and a cheap manual wire stripper/crimp tool. This tool is very easy to use and efficient, i allows me to save a lot of time when I have a lot of wires to strip. The size guide is also very useful for when I have to strip a large amount of wires to the same length.Due to the design of the tool it also allows you to strip a wire midway through, this oftern isn't needed but it is a nice feature to have. I highly recommend this tool as a cheap alternative to hobbyists.

Essential hand tool for any budding DIYer
I can't believe I have never bought a wire stripper before - it makes life so much easier! I was fitting a new outside light to our home, I removed the old unit, installed the new one, however I had to reconnect the new wires via a junction box. This meant I spend over 15 minutes stripping down the wires using a Stanley knife and scissors! With my new wire strippers this job takes seconds!I have large hands however this tool fits into hands really comfortably, it feels really solid with its metal arms and rubber grips. The adjusting nut to change the stripper strength and the stopper that adjusts the length of the stripping length are really useful features.Highly recommended.

Works really well
I am not an electrician. this has made life much easier when it come to wiring, I will cut most sizes and makes a really tidy snip. Locks well and I would get again

Started ok but soon went downhill!
Purchased this last October and they have just got worse and worse. They started off ok and then they sometimes work and sometimes don’t. Sometimes they don’t work at all and then they just stretch the sleeve. Destined for tool heaven and will buy a better quality set. Disappointed.

Needs a hack to cope with fat wires
A real time saver for "normal thickness" wires. My only gripe is it wouldn't strip 12 gauge wire - after some faffing about I learned that if you pre-cut/groove the wire using the little cutter at the top of the handle first, and then put it through the stripper at the top, it will strip these thicker wires. So bear in mind if you're often stripping 12awg or thicker, these may not be for you.
