With some paint it's perfect!
Ordered for just a prop to go along with my Stormtrooper helmet. Didn't want to spend a ton of money on something that will just be displayed and occasionally played with. Was surprised when I received this blaster, it was pretty well made for the price. The plastic pieces all fit together and we're not like the other reviews left on this blaster. The blaster is not functional but the most realistic looking I have seen for this price. I spray painted black in order to look more realistic and it came out great. After painting black you wouldn't know this was a cheap replica, looks great with my helmet. Would recommend!

Perfect prop to display next to my helmet!
I was looking for a stormtrooper blaster to place next to my black series helmet and came across this.It was silly looking but for the price I got it.I am very handy so I picked up some silver and black semi gloss spray paint and did 4 coats on this blaster.I am very pleased with the outcome and looks great for a simple prop.I also drilled holes in it for vents. If you are looking for a stormtrooper blaster and are a little creative you can make a great piece as I did.

A good cheap base for modifying
If you are looking for a cheap base to modify for a costume, this is a good buy. The blaster itself is white and orange as pictured by the seller. The orange paint is gloppy and laid on thick and the seam isn't perfectly lined up, but some sanding and a new coat of paint hides a lot of evils. The trigger doesn't work, there are no moving parts, and the blaster itself is slightly under-scale, but it works well for a costuming prop. If you are looking into getting this blaster and doing your own modifications, there is a great YouTube video by HappyTrooper where he shows step by step how to improve this exact blaster. Overall, I was very happy with how mine came out!

It's not great, but it's not horrible...
Anyone thinking that the quality of a $15 dummy gun should be up to expectations of quality to a $500 prop replica is a bit ridiculous. This thing is made up of two halves that are glued/screwed in place (mine had a very tiny gap, but didn't matter since it's just for an accessory to my trooper armor until I get a better one on order). The trigger does NOT move. It's a dummy costume gun, nothing more. Some black spray paint can fix it right up for a quick make-do E-11 (inaccurate, but better followed by than the Hasbro). It's worth about $10 personally due to absolutely no functionality in movement, but for what I needed it for it will be fine.If you're looking for something screen accurate with sturdy craftsmanship and great detail, please don't even bother.Rubies. That's all you need to know. Hahaha!

A Great Piece For Any Fan of Star Wars
For Those who have always wanted to feel like a storm trooper without breaking the bank, this is the perfect thing for you. The scale of the blaster is perfect, not too small like some kids toy versions are. It feels great in your hands and matches quite close to the stunt prop. With just a little painting it is a perfect piece for any star wars fans collection. Also easy to take apart and customize as needed.

Not worth more than 5 dollars.
Came discolored the red/orange color wasn't consistent. Looked like it had been left in the sun but it was new. The trigger doesn't move. There are no features to this toy. It is a plastic mold and nothing else.

Awesome Gun and Great Quality!!
Super impressed by the quality of this gun! Very sturdy and would hold up if dropped or played with. I used it for my Stormtrooper cosplay and it looked awesome! I spray painted it with black spray paint and it turned out looking great!!! My friends wanted to buy it off me for their Star Wars cosplays :P

Best option for a cheap replica build!!!
UPDATED REVIEW. Since I was pleased with the first blaster I ordered. I ordered a second one. And went all out with making it into my own E-11 replica.I gave the scope red lenses front and back, added some wiring connecting from the counter on the side of the scope, to the "power cells" mounted on the mag. Then did multiple paint jobs with lots of Silver detailing to get it to a point I was pleased with. For being another one of my first prop mods. I'm extremely pleased with it. I also pryed it apart after removing the screws and hot glued the entire thing together at the seams to help give it a more solid feeling. Prior to gluing, it feels and sounds very hollow.
