Say Goodnight (Oxenbury Board Books)

I bought this book for my nine month old because I had recieved this same book over ten years ago for her big sister. Her big sister loved it and as a one year old would carry it to me daily to read it to her. My nine month old loves this book just as much as her sister. As soon as I read it to her she is all smiles and loves to look at the illustrations. It is a very short book but perfect for babies.

These books by Helen Oxenbury are PERFECT first board books. Four pages. A short line of text. Adorable pictures of babies (and the diversity shown makes this books wonderful for everyone. Get all 4.

Having read this book to each of my three children every night for many years, without wanting to hurl it against the wall, you know it’s a keeper. So sweet, adorable, and not too lonnnnnng!

Bought this for my niece for her baby shower, along with a few other titles by the same author. These were my daughter's favorite books when she was very young. Very simple wording and I love the artwork too!

This was our son's favorite book when he was little. He's now 31 years old, and I just got a copy for his sweet little daughter.

The book is a great size, but is a little short. But great for a 1yr old that doesn't like to sit still for too long.

Nice book

This is a lovely book for very young children. The illustrations are very appealing and amusing - and my grandson loves them. It offers real enjoyment to the adult reading the book to their child/children. It is also good to see illustrations of babies from various backgrounds especially when depicted playing together.

A wonderfully simple book with lovely illustrations. I read this to my baby and prop it open when I change his nappy. He coos at the babies so I think he likes it at 2 months.
